JENNY--Help needed JENNY is in need of sponsorship in our sponsorship program to pay for the remainder of her extensive veterinary costs. We are raising funds for all of her diagnostic procedures--Xrays, Ultrasounds, CBC, Urinalysis--for her extensive dental work, and extraction and suturing of six very bad removed teeth, and for her bladder stone removal surgery, JENNY is a Maltipoo, a Maltese/Poodle cross. Jenny is 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a cream and white color, and she is also hypoallergenic! JENNY is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is housetrained, sweet, gentle, playful, loving, affectionate, a lot of fun to be with, and not destructive. Dogs like JENNY also require regular ongoing grooming maintenance to prevent dangerous matts and tangles in the fur which can cause serious skin damage. Betty is a sweet, happy Bichon/Poodle mix who's about 5 years old and weighs 17 pounds. She was found running around the streets in Inglewood. A good Samaritan took her in and quickly realized she had a major urinary issue when she was peeing blood. He was referred to us and the minute we got her I took her to my vet who diagnosed a giant stone (see pic) and did emergency surgery. Betty is now all healed and feeling great. She's on a special food (which we will provide) just for a month and then can be on regular food. She's super affectionate and very food motivated. She'll do her happy dance spinning around in circles when her meals are being prepared. She gets very spunky when playing and will lightly put her mouth around your hand (at which point I grab a stuffed toy and put it in her mouth instead). She loves walks and is a brisk walker who could go for miles. She gets along great with other dogs - I have five she's been living with including a giant Newfie. Betty is very well behaved and not a barker. She chooses to sleep on a doggie bed in the bedroom. She'll make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for an easy, sweet lovable pooch. Our adorable puppy, Forest is looking for his forever home! Forest is an approximately 9 month old Westie who definitely has some maltese him also. He came to us with his mom and two sisters when they were being given away for free from a car that was on the side of a road. Thankfully, a kind woman got them from the person giving them away and reached out to our rescue to see if we could take them in and we said yes! His mother and two sisters have been adopted and now Forest needs his forever family! We are looking for a home that has another young and playful dog and a yard for him to run around in. He will come to you a little scared and shy, but give him the patience and love he needs to feel safe and he will open up in no time! Owner that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal. This sweetheart is likely Maltese/Pomeranian (sheds a little), 10.5 lbs, 1.5-2 yrs old and almost pure white! If you don’t like kisses, stop reading here because that’s how he greets you! He is just a puppy so he sometimes gets carried away and might nip your nose! For that reason, we think he would be best in a home with older kids (over 8 yrs), he definitely wants another dog to hang around with and a yard would be awesome. He can be very mellow…mostly when he is sleeping! But he loves to play and he is really smart and wants to please you. Exercise and walks will tired him out and then he will love to cuddle with you and he will sit on your lap…just not all day! He really wouldn’t be good in a mature home — he wants to see the world! Jordy is just learning how to walk on a leash, so occasionally he will get really excited and jump high up in the air! Can be a wiggle worm, as he just got neutered and didn’t love his cone of shame! He came to us with huge matts behind his ears and while his coat turned out great, he was carrying around everything with him but the kitchen sink. It was just too lovely to shave and he is very proud of it! If you have the “right stuff” Jordy would love to join your family!
