JENNY--Help needed JENNY is in need of sponsorship in our sponsorship program to pay for the remainder of her extensive veterinary costs. We are raising funds for all of her diagnostic procedures--Xrays, Ultrasounds, CBC, Urinalysis--for her extensive dental work, and extraction and suturing of six very bad removed teeth, and for her bladder stone removal surgery, JENNY is a Maltipoo, a Maltese/Poodle cross. Jenny is 7 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. She is a cream and white color, and she is also hypoallergenic! JENNY is very intelligent and inquisitive. She is housetrained, sweet, gentle, playful, loving, affectionate, a lot of fun to be with, and not destructive. Dogs like JENNY also require regular ongoing grooming maintenance to prevent dangerous matts and tangles in the fur which can cause serious skin damage. Meet Winnie! A spirited almost seven-year-old Bichon Frise/West Highland White Terrier mix currently in Walnut Creek, CA, whose essence is a bundle of sweetness wrapped in a fluffy, mostly white coat. At 14 pounds, Winnie is a small boy with a big enthusiasm for being close to his people! He is a constant companion who happily turns everyday moments into adventures, whether he is heading out for a walk, hopping into the car for a ride, or settling nearby at bedtime. His medium energy level pairs nicely with an active family. Winnie enjoys three to five walks a day or access to a securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs. He also gets the zoomies indoors, so room to run is appreciated! Playtime is one of Winnie’s specialties. Stuffed animals are favorites, but bring out a ball and he is ready for fetch! He also enjoys a game of tug-of-war, making him a fun companion for people who enjoy interactive play. Winnie knows “quiet,” “stay,” and “sit,” comes when called, and could continue building his skills through positive reinforcement. Winnie is friendly with strangers and generally gets along well with cats. He has not met another dog directly, so his compatibility with dogs is unknown. On walks, however, he shows curiosity and wants to approach other dogs. He has not spent time around children. A younger couple or active family who can offer companionship, activity, and play could suit his lifestyle nicely! This sweet boy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, house-trained, and appears healthy. Winnie is sensitive about facial grooming but has never bitten anyone. His regular groomers have always used a face muzzle without issue. An experienced groomer comfortable using this support can help make grooming successful. Winnie usually handles short periods alone well, though he occasionally needs a little encouragement when people leave. Fritz is truly amazing, he was abandoned and sat waiting for his owner’s return but they never came back. A Good Samaritan took him in and contacted our rescue. Fritz loves all dogs big and small, loves all people. He is so loving and sweet. He is learning to walk well on a leash, he is healthy we have done blood work, fecal test, dewormed, microchipped. And neutered, he also is on flea meds and is headed to the groomer this week. He will just get even better looking. He is crate trained and is getting potty trained. Truly you could not ask for a sweeter easygoing dog, he is also so smart learns fast. To adopt you need to fill out an application at Eloiserescue.org. Sorry no out of state adoptions. Found at a warehouse in Pomona, he’s clearly been through some uncertainty—but he carries himself with quiet resilience. He’s past the puppy phase and into the good stuff—easy company, steady companionship, and simple joys. Koala doesn’t ask for much. A comfortable spot, a gentle routine, and someone who enjoys having a loyal little presence nearby. There’s something special about a dog like him—the kind who doesn’t need to prove anything, just be there with you. If you’re looking for a mellow, devoted companion to share your days, Koala is ready. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. As we found him, his hinterquaters were covered in countless bite wounds from repeated attacks by other straydogs. ‼️ Special notes He is protective of his owner and will lunge at strangers, especially men, while barking. But he is not very strong, is easy to handle and controll. He responds well to a light leash correction and will usually stop the behavior. However we believe that he'd do the best with an adopter who has prior experience with dogs.

Such A Perfect Little Gentleman...Meet Toto! Toto is a male, approx 8 year old, Maltipoo (with maybe a touch of Westie) who is about 10lbs of pure cuteness! He came to us as an owner surrender who unfortunately left him in not so great condition. Toto was matted, dirty, full of fleas and skin allergies. We had him fully vetted including a complete dental with extractions (he only has 3 teeth now). He is now in a wonderful foster home where he is getting all the love he deserves and more! We are looking for a forever home for him that has a calm, non chaotic home where the owner are home most of the day and are basically homebodies. He LOVES being at home more than walks or going out and about. He would rather just hang out with you, sitting by your side or out in the garden where he can soak up the sun! Toto would do best with his potty training if he has a home with a safe and secure backyard that he has access to. He is such a good boy who is calm, sweet, mellow, and so loving! Please note that due to the condition he was left in, he still deals with some allergies and will require continued Cytopoint (allergy shots), short puppy cuts are best, and some home cooking as he will need soft food for nutrition and since he only has 3 teeth. This handsome boy is Archer and he is an almost 1 year old, 15lb, Maltese mix that is the sweetest boy ever! He came to us when he was put into a closed carrier and tossed over someone's yard. Thankfully the kind person where this happened, went outside when he heard a noise and discovered this beautiful dog staring up at him. He got him inside and reached out to us for help. We gladly took him into our foundation and named this beautiful boy, Archer. He is such a little love who is good with people, dogs, and especially cats! Archer can be your one and only in the home or with another sweet dog or better yet, a cat! We are looking for a forever home for him that has owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Archer was tossed away by the one person he trusted the most, so we promised him that we would find him the best forever home out there! Archer is microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered. A precocious little miss who loves everybody and everything! A b/w, 15 lb, 2-3 yr old Shih Tzu terrier — Laynie came from the Lancaster shelter with a nasty UTI and kennel cough. Despite all that, she was happy and active, but had no appetite. Now, we can’t believe she is the same dog! It only took her about a week to start showing her personality, which — in addition to being very silly — is so affectionate it might catch you off guard! Hope you don’t mind her jumping up on you to let you know she wants your love! We have never seen a dog who loved driving in the car more than Laynie! Walk past the car with the door open and next thing you know, she’s behind the wheel ready to go!! She is a adorable character who will keep you smiling from ear to ear! On walks, Princess Laynie may announce to the other dogs that they are in her presence! She usually welcomes them, but she is really more interested in getting humans' attention. Ideal home for this sweetie would be with or without kids, with or without another dog, but definitely not without a lot of attention and love. Does that sound like your home?
