Story
I adopted shadow from my prior roommate he was with my roommates sister, and she neglected him. He was kept outside with only one toy, his whole life. He is a very good boy very smart and he knows his commands like sit, down, and, stay. He is a forever puppy. He might be gray, but he is full of energy and loves to be loved 24/7. Shadow needs someone who can give him the exercise toys and love he deserves. I have given him the best life I can with the small apartment and amount of time I have. He is a couch potato and loves his treats and toys. But he needs more space to be free and someone who has the time and energy he deserves. He has not been socialized with other dogs therefore, he has bitten some dogs that I have tried to let him meet. He will bark at stranger but loves all people. Some tall men scare him, but he will get over it once he meets them. The last thing I want to do is give him up, but I am young and not planning on staying where I am at plus he needs more.

Story
Meet Bailey, an adult canine resident of our shelter. Bailey's personality shines through her mellow and sweet demeanor. She's a gentle soul who enjoys her own company, making her an independent companion. Bailey can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up to you, her loyalty knows no bounds. She's mastered the art of enjoying simple pleasures in life, like a good nap or a leisurely walk. Her calm and serene nature is a soothing presence in any home. Adopting Bailey means inviting a well of patience and love into your life. Her years of wisdom make her an ideal pet for those seeking a mature, loving companion. Bailey has some chronic medical conditions that will likely require lifelong care. Because of this and her shy nature, we recommend that any children in her new home are age 10 or older so they can understand her needs. She may do well with other calm dogs in her new home after a slow introduction.Adoption fee: WaivedMonthly Promotion Applies

Story
Luna is a 10 month old pup. She is super sweet and good with all people and all animals. She is a medium to high energy dog so she needs someone who has a yard or is able to take her for daily walks. She is kennel trained and sleeps in it at night. She knows sit and wait for food. She needs some additional training such as no jumping, stay, and walking on a leash without pulling. Otherwise, she is super sweet and loving. She is up to date on vaccines and has been receiving regular flea and tick prevention. She is not fixed. But a great dog overall!

Story
MEET OREO - OREO arrived at the rescue at about 4 or 5 weeks old. He had been tossed into some bushes at an apartment complex. A Good Samaritan found him and brought him to the ranch. He was a bit dehydrated and injured. He was so happy to be saved he just kissed the grandkids and wagged till his little self fell asleep with a full belly. Oreo is about 5 months old now and in great health, has seen the Vet and still as friendly and fun as can be and looking for his forever family. He loves water play and fetch. He’s great with other dogs, farm animals, kids and adults. Oreo is now Neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you believe Oreo is your love match, please email us with a little information about yourselves and how Oreo would spend his days with you, to gooddogk9rescue@yahoo.com Thank you - Good Dog K9 Rescue Inc.

Story
3.5 years old. Bought him from a local person on face book market when he was 7 weeks old. Charlie is raised mostly indoor and is very energetic. He love walking hiking, river, waterfall and stream. He love being around with people and can eat mostly everything. Very smart dog and I take him for a walked at least 3 times a week. He also love the snow and I took him on a medium hike every month or so. My parents are getting old in their late 70 and couldn't take care of him. I have been in the military for over 10 years and requires a lot of traveling for work. I will take care of the food for a whole year.
