Story
Fava is a sweet and playful young boy who is full of personality and charm. He is a friendly but sensitive pup who may take a moment to feel comfortable, but once he gets acquainted, his fun and loving true self really shines through. Fava loves to play and has a silly side, especially when it comes to shredding stuffed toys and chasing tennis balls. He brings lots of energy and excitement to everything he does and would love a home where he can run, play, and enjoy all the fun that comes with being a young dog. Fava is the shy sort who would do best with a calm and supportive family who can help put him at ease, so we recommend that any children in his new home are age 10 or older so they can understand his needs. Fava told us that he is not a fan of small dogs or cats, so he is required to go to a home without them. If there is another large dog in the home, an introduction at the shelter will be required to see if Fava and his new friend will be a good match. Fava is looking for a loving home that will embrace his playful spirit and help guide him as he grows. In return, he will bring fun, laughter, and plenty of happy moments to your days!Adoption Price: $200

Story
Forest is a sweet little medium to high energy Chihuahua and Border Collie mix. He was born around 9/1/2024 and currently weighs 20 lbs. His DNA test came back with 15 breeds and Chihuahua/Border Collie were the highest %'s. Forest is playful, loyal and smart. He likes the company of other friendly dogs and likes playing chase and wrestling with them. He is beginning to enjoy balls and toys and will occasionally play with them. He Iikes chewing on bully sticks and other chew toys and bones. He loves going for walks, hiking and will swim sometimes. In the evenings he enjoys couch time with his humans. He desires to be a large part of his family’s life and likes being included in daily activities. Forest can be shy when meeting new people but has shown he will warm up with slow, calm introductions. He has a tendency to be somewhat timid but his confidence has grown quite a bit in his foster home. Once he is comfortable in a home he is a happy, delightful, playful and cuddly boy. He has a preference for women but does warm up to men in time. Forest is crate trained, walks politely on a leash and is house broken in his foster home. He currently lives with friendly dogs of various sizes and gets a long well with them. He also lives with dog savvy cats but will challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Children would likely overwhelm him so only dog savvy, respectful kids over 12 are recommended. He would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours. He enjoys a yard and is an alert barker so no apartments for him. Forest would do well in an active home with a confident, playful dog companion to help boost his confidence, help show him the ropes and keep him company while his humans are away from home. He would not do well with an overly dominant dog who bullies him. A person who has the time, patience and willingness to work with a shy dog would be ideal. Forest is a sweet, playful dog who is a joy to foster. He is patiently waiting for his forever home. Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $350-$475 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Story
Apollo is a good dog. He will need a child and pet free home. He loves to cuddle, car rides, going camping/hiking, and playing fetch or catch. He really loves his spikey ball. He’s very smart and has a lot of energy. I will get his shots updated before he leaves our home. I cannot keep him with me for much longer. I either need a foster or to rehome him. I can give more information if interested.

Story
Cookie is a 5-year-old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, and she absolutely lives up to her name. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves cuddles. Cookie is also adventurous and enjoys exploring, but she is just as happy soaking up pets and attention. She has grown up around dogs of all sizes as well as cats, so she is very comfortable with other animals. She is friendly and loving, though she can be a little shy at first. Cookie is also very obedient and smart. She knows how to bring you her ball, give you her paw, sit when asked, and even roll over. Cookie would make a perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, gentle, and loving dog.

Story
MEET BAYLEE - UPDATE, this is Baylee’s original listing below. Baylee and Benji were adopted together in 2024, due to divorce and moving into a non animal apartment both Baylee and Benji find themselves looking for a home again! They have been loved very much and all the initial rescue dog quirks have been worked out of them. They are very sweet. Original listing - Baylee and her boyfriend (Benji) We’re seen being dropped off at an Orchard while the vehicle drove away. Baylee was so sweet, wagging and wiggling toward us, coming just close enough to let us know she wanted to be helped but wasn’t going to be caught without Benji. So we focused on capturing Benji first and Baylee finally relented and came to us also. Baylee is the sweetest little border collie, she’s submissive and aims to please. She loves kids and other dogs. We are hoping not to split them up if possible. If you have a heart big enough for bother of them that would be a huge plus. A larger yard or property is best with this breed so she can get her daily exercise. Baylee is now Spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. If you believe Baylee is your love match, please email us with a little information about yourselves and how the Baylee would spend her days with you, to gooddogk9rescue@yahoo.com Thank you - Good Dog K9 Rescue Inc.

Story
I adopted BamBam almost three years ago, and he is a very sweet dog, he is three years old and has an energetic, loving personality! He has had some issues with people, especially strangers, when they get too into his personal space. It would be best for him to live in a single person house hold where he would be the only pet and could have plenty of attention from his owner. If you are interested, please email me and I will explain in more detail about the issues he has had and answer any questions. He is a very sweet boy and I would love to find him a loving home. :)
