We have just started our second session working on training that behaivor. She normally loves humans and enjoys trying to lick their ears. Loves to run, play fetch and frisbee. Loves tug of war.

We rescued Rocco from the West Valley Animal Shelter. He was terrified at the shelter and would have been put down. He has made a lot of progress since we pulled him that we are looking for his perfect home now. Preferably a backyard and no children. He warms up quickly but needs to be with experienced people. Chino is a good dog for the right home, but he has two flaws: he doesn't care to share an environment with any other dogs, and he can escape from almost any confinement. Since we like Border Collies in general, and since he was "overdue" at his animal shelter one day when we were there picking up another dog, he was also chosen and saved. We quickly learned that the part of Chino that is not Border Collie is probably one of the tundra breeds like Malamute, because we had to fully enclose every inch of his kennel to keep him in. (This was after he escaped from four previous attempts to kennel him.) The good news is that after escaping he only wanted to stay by the side of his human friends here at the rescue, so he'll need a pretty much constant human companion. Chino is about 3 years old and weighs about 80 pounds.

Please note this dog is located in SO Calif. Because of the overpopulation and high kill rate of shelter dogs in our area we are trying to find our dogs good homes in other areas. Please contact us for transport information. Ivy is just over a year old and weighs about 55 pounds. She is a gorgeous Tricolor Aussie Shep mix. We gave her the full set of 3 series puppy shots, is spayed, wormed, microchipped and rabies shot. We rescued her as a little puppy om a high kill shelter Now living in a foster home where she plays with male and female dogs, is good with cats and puppies and is a well adjusted girl.. Her thick coat that a slight reddish tinge and a bit of the Aussie Wave going on. Ivy like toys, water and playing and is very friendly with people too.
