Roy needs a new home to no fault of his own. Roy is a very lovable 11 year old dog who just wants to be everyone’s best friend. He is a little nervous when meeting new dogs but once he is properly introduced to a calm and non reactive dog he can live with another dog. He gets along best with dogs that are smaller than him and calm. Roy loves being around children because he loves to run and play with them but he does not do well cats because he tries to chase them. He is happy to be lazy with you during the day and go on long walks in the morning and evening. Even with his age he is very strong and likes to jog and play fetch. Roy is crate trained but has been sleeping out of the crate for many years without any accident or chewing/destruction. He is extremely food motivated and knows a few commands. He loves treat puzzles and chew treats. When you’re at work or school he will lay on the sofa and wait to greet you when you get home

He can be a little shy at first, but he is gaining confidence and making great progress. He loves playing with Snowy, rides well in the car, and is getting much better on leash. Big, loud trucks can still make him nervous, but he handled fireworks surprisingly well. Charlie is looking for a patient family that will continue helping him feel safe and confident. Luna was a great mom to her puppies who have all been adopted. Now it is her turn! Luna can be shy with new people and animals, but she warms up with patience and gentleness. Luna gets along with cats and dogs. She should not be around smaller animals. Luna does well with children 10 and over. She is not recommended to be with small children because she can have herding tendencies with them.

Bianchi is from Redding, though I met her owner in willow. So, I nearly named her willow but decided to go for a street name I grew up near - Bianchi. She is a fun, loving pup who loves the outdoors, meeting new people and dogs, and experiencing life. She has a good attitude with distraction though this could be worked on along with her recall. She’s got great potential to be a family dog or a single persons dog, whichever is able to give her the most attention. She’s very playful, but can get carried away at times with cats - however we were able to work on most of her reactivity with the ones in our home. A slow introduction to cats and dogs in a new home would work great for her in my opinion! If I had more time in my hand to give her, I would not be making this post but I believe with her still being very young and so passionate, she can make the perfect family addition to someone who does have the time. If you love herding dogs and are looking for a velcro dog, Molly is your girl! This sweetheart is absolutely dedicated to her human. Molly will attempt to hug you every second of every minute she is with you. Trying to pick something up off the floor? Nope, you're getting smothered in kisses. Want to go to the bathroom by yourself? Uh un, no you may not shut that door without this sleek little shadow zipping in faster than lightning. Molly was brought to the shelter as a stray, and her coat and behaviors show she was out on a grand adventure for a bit. Now that she is clean and groomed, this black beauty is a cuddle bug who easily redirects from inspecting the trash. Molly needs slow introductions to other dogs and does well with submissive dogs. She does very well with redirection and distraction when she starts to get antsy around other dogs. Really, these behaviors are insecurity of her environment, but she has learned to adapt to pack life quite easily. Her herding instincts are very strong and she loves to play with the herding ball and direct the other dogs in games of chase. Molly has not been tested with cats, but she would likely chase them. She is a little nervous when loose in the car, but rides very well in her kennel. She likes to bark at grey trucks in particular. Molly is approximately 2 years old, is spayed, and is UTD on her vaccinations. She will need an active family who can give her the exercise and mental stimulation this girl needs to thrive!

Courtesy post for rehoming. Patti or Patti Melt and Patti Cake asa her foster lights to call her is a loyal and affectionate beauty. Her favorite activities are catching the ball playing frisbee and snuggling up on the couch with her person. She is food motivated and will do almost anything for treats her stunningly, beautiful ice blue eyes are real showstopper. She is a petite girl at about 45 pounds. She is making progress on leash and is eager to please. She would make an excellent running partner or would simply love to be with her person wherever as long as she is by their side. Patti can be left alone, but needs to feel secure in the area that she is left. She does not like to be in a secluded small space. It takes her a while to warm up to new people so she will require some patience with that. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs close monitoring as she doesn’t have all of the proper social skills yet. She would likely do well with another doggy sibling as long as intros are properly done. Her unwavering and fierce loyalty are her greatest attributes.
