Story
Looking to rehome this sweet girl. Her mom is a Border Collie and her dad is a Weimaraner, she’s a smart, loyal and a lover. She will likely be medium-sized when she’s grown. We would love to keep her ourselves, but we already have a full house of pets. Someone is going to be very lucky to have her—we’re just looking for someone who will love her as much as we do. She will follow you from room to room just to stay close. She’s remarkably relaxed for a puppy and spends most of her time wandering, snoozing or looking for cuddles. She’s still got that curious puppy side, of course, but she’s very gentle and loves playing with other dogs and kids. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be part of the family, please reach out. We’d love to chat and see if it’s a good match.

Story
Sweet, loyal, adventurous. We are looking for a forever home for this sweet girl. She is almost 3 months old and at the ideal age for bonding and early training. She loves to explore and play- she is always happy chase you around and will likely follow you anywhere you go. She is also always happy to get cuddles. She has grown up with other dogs, and is well socialized. She is great with young kids too. She loves attention and it would be great for her to go to a home with another dog, so she has a friend/playmate/companion, but not required. It would also be best for her to have a home with a yard, as she loves to explore. She is not spayed yet, but is up-to-date on vaccinations. No special needs. This sweet girl is still young, so she will need an owner with some patience and time, but in return she will become your new best friend.

Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a sweet, gentle soul with a calm presence and a heart full of love. This 7-year-old Border Collie mix came in as a stray, but it’s clear he’s had a home before; he’s well-mannered, attentive, and ready to settle right back into family life. You’ll often find Cooper waiting at the front of his kennel with a soft wagging tail, happy to greet new friends. He’s easy to leash, walks nicely by your side, and is very tolerant of handling; he enjoys being pet all over and takes treats gently. He even knows “sit” and may have a few more tricks up his sleeve! Cooper has a calm and easygoing personality, making him a great match for someone looking for a more relaxed companion. He does have a vocal side and may bark or make little whining noises to communicate, adding to his charming personality. When it comes to other dogs, Cooper shows polite interest but seems to prefer a slower pace. He may feel a bit unsure around more energetic or playful dogs, so he would likely do best with a calm canine companion. A dog-to-dog meet is recommended to ensure a good fit. Overall, Cooper is a kind, well-behaved boy who would love a peaceful home where he can enjoy companionship, gentle walks, and plenty of affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow friend to share your days with, Cooper could be the perfect addition to your family!

Story
Dante is a STUNNING Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Need we say more? Yes, because being handsome isn't everything…so read on…(and check out his pictures below).Poor guy showed up as a 35-lb. stray, all skin and bones. He has since gained 30 lbs., developed confidence, and has shown a loyal heart. His name means `enduring and steadfast` in Italian, and it could not be more fitting. His prior life behind him, he is now eager and ready to work and learn at every training session and will sprint back to you the moment you call his name – RECALL IS HIS SUPERPOWER.Over several day trips with volunteers, he has gone from being under-socialized and nervous to an affectionate, engaging pup who clearly enjoys spending time with his people. He understands things quickly and gets more relaxed with each day trip. He loads into the car easily, rides well, and kicks things off with enthusiasm and plenty of kisses. He walks well on a leash, has gone swimming in questionable trail water, conquered sliding store doors and scary stores, and figured out that checking back in with his person is always the right move. He has shown himself to be dog-friendly and very playful. This beautiful boy will thrive with someone who will keep up his training, give him structure, consistency, and continued guidance, and maybe share an In-N-Out burger with him on road trips. In return, Dante will be a loyal, enduring, steadfast companion who will give you absolutely everything he's got. Schedule an appointment to meet Dante at yoloshelter.org/dogs or email adopt@yoloshelter.org . April 4, 2026, 2:06 am
