Story
Dante is a STUNNING Border Collie/Shepherd mix. Need we say more? Yes, because being handsome isn't everything…so read on…(and check out his pictures below).Poor guy showed up as a 35-lb. stray, all skin and bones. He has since gained 30 lbs., developed confidence, and has shown a loyal heart. His name means `enduring and steadfast` in Italian, and it could not be more fitting. His prior life behind him, he is now eager and ready to work and learn at every training session and will sprint back to you the moment you call his name – RECALL IS HIS SUPERPOWER.Over several day trips with volunteers, he has gone from being under-socialized and nervous to an affectionate, engaging pup who clearly enjoys spending time with his people. He understands things quickly and gets more relaxed with each day trip. He loads into the car easily, rides well, and kicks things off with enthusiasm and plenty of kisses. He walks well on a leash, has gone swimming in questionable trail water, conquered sliding store doors and scary stores, and figured out that checking back in with his person is always the right move. He has shown himself to be dog-friendly and very playful. This beautiful boy will thrive with someone who will keep up his training, give him structure, consistency, and continued guidance, and maybe share an In-N-Out burger with him on road trips. In return, Dante will be a loyal, enduring, steadfast companion who will give you absolutely everything he's got. We are thinking he is probably a border collie/terrier mix. He is vaccinated, crate trained, and potty trained, and he does well with other dogs and is kid friendly. We are rehoming Lou due to his prey drive as he has killed a chicken and continues to focused on them, so he will need a home that can safely manage this behavior and does not have small livestock or free-roaming small animals. Story
Flitz is a very playful, affectionate dog who loves being around people. He enjoys attention, cuddling, and spending time with humans, and he also does well around other dogs and cats. He has a fun, loving personality and would do best with someone who wants a companion they can truly spend time with. Flitz is fully trained and knows his obedience commands. He walks well, understands structure, and is also e-collar trained. He has developed cataracts, which has caused him to become blind, but he has adjusted well and uses his nose, hearing, and awareness to navigate. His blindness does not take away from his happy personality or his ability to enjoy life. Due to moving restrictions, we are no longer able to keep him, and we want to make sure he goes to someone with good intentions who will give him the life he deserves. We are looking for a home that can keep him active, loved, and included, whether that means having a safe yard, regular walks, or a clear plan to give him exercise

Story
Courtesy post for rehoming. Patti or Patti Melt and Patti Cake asa her foster lights to call her is a loyal and affectionate beauty. Her favorite activities are catching the ball playing frisbee and snuggling up on the couch with her person. She is food motivated and will do almost anything for treats her stunningly, beautiful ice blue eyes are real showstopper. She is a petite girl at about 45 pounds. She is making progress on leash and is eager to please. She would make an excellent running partner or would simply love to be with her person wherever as long as she is by their side. Patti can be left alone, but needs to feel secure in the area that she is left. She does not like to be in a secluded small space. It takes her a while to warm up to new people so she will require some patience with that. She also enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs close monitoring as she doesn’t have all of the proper social skills yet. She would likely do well with another doggy sibling as long as intros are properly done. Her unwavering and fierce loyalty are her greatest attributes. Whoever adopts Patti will have constant affection and never feel lonely. If you’re interested in meeting Patti please contact her foster mom Anne via phone or text @ (925)699-0841

Story
Shep is a 10 year old and 112 pound dog who is looking for his forever home. He`s an absolute love who enjoys leaning into you for brushing and rolling over for belly rubs. If you`re looking for a chill dog who`s friends with everyone he meets, then look no further! My adoption fee is sponsored by an A`s fan and in loving memory of Buckner.Shep is blind, but that doesn`t stop him from loving life! He loves to go on sniffy walks, but needs an attentive walker who will help him get some much needed excercise without bumping into obstacles.I have no known history with other dogs, I may do well with proper and slow introductions to respectful dogs.I have no known history with cats, I may do well with proper introductions and supervision.I have no known history with children, but may do well with respectful children.

Story
Clover is a 2-year-old Kelpie mix with a heart full of enthusiasm and energy to spare. This girl is on a mission in life: run fast, learn new things, and have fun doing it! If you're looking for a dog who's always ready for the next adventure, Clover may be your perfect match.Extremely intelligent, athletic, and eager to work, Clover would thrive in an active home where she has a “job” to do. She would excel in agility, flyball, herding, hiking, running, or any dog sport that keeps her mind and body engaged. She's the kind of dog who lights up when given structure, purpose, and challenges.Clover also loves playing with other high-energy dogs and would do wonderfully with canine companions who can match her enthusiasm and play style. A home with space to run and people committed to continued training and exercise would help her truly shine.Because of her drive and energy level, Clover is not a couch potato type of dog. She needs an adopter who understands working breeds and is excited about investing time into exercise, enrichment, and training. In return, Clover will give endless loyalty, intelligence, and companionship. If you've been searching for a smart, active dog with incredible potential, Clover is ready to meet her teammate for life.To make an appointment to meet this energetic gal, please go to yoloshelter.org/dogs or email adopt@yoloshelter.org.May 20, 2026, 1:58 am

Story
Cymbal is a young pup with a joyful, affectionate personality and a wonderfully social nature. He is at an age where he should be learning the rhythms of home life, and he is more than ready for that next chapter. At a recent adoption event, Cymbal was an absolute standout. He greeted adults and children with ease, handled the busy environment beautifully, and charmed multiple families throughout the day. Despite coming incredibly close to being adopted, he somehow ended the event still waiting. Cymbal rides well in the car, walks nicely on leash, and is eager to engage with his people. He is playful, curious, and highly treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for continued training. Most of all, Cymbal is a genuine lovebug who enjoys affection, companionship, and being close to his humans.
