Lenny came to us after a difficult start in life. He needs a family that understands healing takes time and is willing to let him build trust at his own pace. Once he trusts you, he's incredibly loving and enjoys being close to his people. Lenny does especially well with women and has been friendly with other dogs, including large dogs and puppies. Based on what we've seen, we think he'd likely do well with small dogs too. With the right collar and leash, he does great on walks. He's still figuring out cats. In his foster home, there are times when he completely ignores them, and other times when he'll become interested enough to chase them. Because of that, he'd need careful supervision and a home that's prepared to manage introductions if cats are part of the family.Lenny is very nervous around men and boys. We think he'd be happiest in an adult home, particularly one with women who can help him continue building confidence at his own pace.Lenny is a really great dog. He's looking for someone who will appreciate the sweet, loyal companion he is and give him the security and understanding he needs to thrive. Frida would do best in a home with low activity. She loves her adventures outside.. going on walks and hikes, but while in her home Frida would like it to be peaceful and low energy. She would do best with another dog in the home and with no small children or small animals. Frida is a sweetheart, but she scares easily. He still shows sighs of being shy and nervous around strangers, but once he knows he can trust you Obsidian is a sweet loving boy. He does need to learn more manners along with some structure. This ~50 pound mixed breed girl is eager to learn and be loved, and more than ready to head out on her own proudly walking with her person, or people, her family! Periwinkle is bright and super willing to participate in all life has to offer. Athletic and wanting plenty of activity and adventure in her life, she also will happily wallow in the down time, the relaxation and cuddling time at home with her people!! Great dog!!
