Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
This sweet gal traveled all the way from Texas for a fresh start. She adores female presenting folks and requests male-presenting individuals be patient and calm as she learns to trust you. She has had a lot of stress and transition recently, so a calm, predictable home would be a dream come true for her. She is excited to build a relationship with someone and to show you her true colors. Due to her tender personality a home with calm and gentle children aged 10 and older is required. And we suggest a dog-to-dog introduction to ensure a good fit, if you already have a canine pal at home.
