Story
This is D or Deezer, he will 11 years old in October. Our landlord decided to sell and we had to move quickly and our new landlord will not allow dogs. He has never damaged anything in the house but he will tear through dog toys pretty quickly. He is a sweetheart and loves to cuddle with you and a blanket. He is your shadow and will move when you move. He loves the water and being outside. He is fine on a leash but does not like when bikes pass by quickly, i would typically just step to the side when bikes came by and had him sit. I have two kids and he did great with both. I would have to put him outside if the boys were playing with balls or getting rowdy because he would get hyper and start to jump on the kiddos. Other than that the was fine. I will say if your house is calm he is very calm, if your house is chaotic he may get more hyper and jump. He could be in the front yard without a leash and would stay close by. He would only run if he was distracted by something.

Story
Jaxx is an incredibly kind, and loving dog of 9 years. Being a senior dog means his tempermant is one of patience and steadiness. He enjoys walks, laying on the floor next to you and "leaning" on you. He loves to be pet on his belly. He's housetrained, incredibly respectful of house rules (naturally and quickly understanding what's off limits- if anything). Although he's technically a senior, he still loves going outside chasing a ball a few times. He sits, lays down, and shakes paws when given instructions to do so. Jaxx is excellent with children and grandchildren. His only two dislikes are long car rides (he pants and shakes a bit) and he surprisingly doesn't like swimming. However, he doesn't mind baths in the yard. We are very sad to have to rehome him as we've had him for nearly 9 years after rescuing him as a puppy. We are relocating for a job to temporary housing that restricts dogs. We want a home he'll be loved in, cuddled with, fed well, with people happy to see him.

Story
Meet Hadley! This sweet girl is ready to find a family to share all of life's adventures with. Curious, affectionate, and eager to explore, Hadley is enjoying her new life in Colorado and would love a home that appreciates the outdoors as much as she does. Hadley is friendly with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a wonderful fit for a variety of households. Whether it's hiking a trail, exploring a new park, or simply enjoying time outside, she's always excited to be part of the fun. Hadley is currently working on leash manners and potty training, but with her intelligent Cattle Dog/Border Collie heritage, she's proving to be a quick learner and is expected to pick up these skills in no time. If you're looking for a smart, loving companion with an adventurous spirit, Hadley may be the perfect match for you! Hadley is a 6-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX test, and spay. Hadley is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok!Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Atticus is a one year old short haired Border Collie (likely purebred). He is very sweet and gentle but can be shy at first. He does the sweetest little tail wags when he sees his people, and will follow you around all day in the house or the yard. He is very quiet in his kennel and is potty trained. He likes other dogs but would prefer a quieter home, with someone with patience to show him new things as he comes out of his shell. Atticus is about 35 lbs, and is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Zosia is a sweet, playful, high-energy 8-month old puppy who loves fetch and toys and is affectionate with her people. However, she is fearful of strangers and has shown fear-based reactivity, including a minor bite incident (no broken skin) when a child rapidly approached her while she was overwhelmed.Because of this, she will need:✔️ Adult-only home ✔️ Experienced handler (herding breed/reactive dog experience preferred) ✔️ Commitment to training and structureAlthough Zosia has been gentle and sweet with our three-year old daughter, we have a baby on the way and for safety reasons, we’ve sadly decided we cannot keep her. The shelter we adopted her from stated she would face behavioral euthanasia if returned, so we are doing everything we can to find her a chance.Zosia has a lot of potential in the right forever home. We will send her with a crate, collar, leash, toys, and food. We are committed to full transparency and helping with her transition.

Story
Sasha is a lover girl. She just loves people and people love her right back. She just turned 11 years old, but is still an energetic gal. She is very smart and food motivated. She knows sit, dance, and spin, and loves to do them all in a row on command for a treat! She will just follow you everywhere and use every opportunity to get a belly rub. We do have a cat, and she ignores him. She will definitely overeat if allowed, but you can use this food motivation to teach her new tricks. Our kids loved to set up obstacle courses for her in the yard when she was younger. She can be dog reactive on walks (related to leash pulling) but a harness helps, and so does simply crossing the street. We will miss Sasha, but are unable to take her when we move.
