Story
Zeus is currently located at the EAC in Westminster (10460 Town Center Dr, Westminster, CO, 80021) and can be visited from 10am-6pm Sat/Sun and 12pm-7pm Mon-Fri! Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Zeus is a gentle, sensitive soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. Once he knows you’re his person, he’s all cuddles, pets, and devoted companionship. This sweet boy clearly loves deeply and forms strong bonds, making him an absolute joy to have around. Zeus is excellent at communicating his boundaries and appreciates when his humans listen. He’s a big fan of head, chest, and neck scratches, and while he’s not crazy about back-end pets, he’ll politely boop your hand to let you know. Because of this, he’d do wonderfully with kids who understand and respect a dog’s cues. He’s a smart, emotionally tuned-in pup who may have some big feelings—especially during things like vet visits—but he’s incredibly receptive to training and truly wants to do right by his person, even in stressful situations. He’s a blast to work with and clearly cares a lot about his human. Zeus loves toys of all kinds (especially the ones he can enthusiastically de-fluff), enjoys calm, pleasant walks with minimal pulling, and naturally checks in with his handler—extra enthusiastically if treats are involved! He’s curious about other dogs and people without being reactive, though busy environments with fast-moving bikes or groups can make him a bit nervous. With positive counter-conditioning, he’s already making great progress. He’s potty trained, crate training is coming along, and he may even be a great free-roam candidate (just don’t leave snacks on the counter!). Zeus does have a prey drive, so cats are an unknown, but he’s been easily redirected from chickens, sheep, and even a daily parade of wild turkeys—so with slow introductions, success is definitely possible. Zeus is a wonderfully chill guy for how young he is. He loves engaging with his person but is just as happy snoozing through a lazy afternoon. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a big heart and gentle soul, Zeusy Boy might just be your perfect match. 🐶💫

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Tinkerbell Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $550 Meet Tinkerbell: This adorable girl is ready for her forever home! From Tinkerbell’s foster, “i had such an amazing time getting to foster tinkerbelle. she’s such a love bug and loves to snuggle and play. when she’s playing she can be a bit hyper but it’s easy to give her a bone or toy to distract her and calm her down, plus she’s super fun to play with if you are looking for that! she likes to mouth a bit because of her breed but if you just give her a toy or bone she’ll get completely distracted. she also loves to bury her bones so be warned if she brings it outside you may never see it again lol🤣 but the cutest thing ever is when she tries to bury a bone in the couch- she seems so proud of herself and the bone almost every time is completely visible it’s hilarious. every time i come home she gets beyond excited to see me and spends an entire 10 minutes just circling me and wagging her tail before she even goes to the bathroom or grabs a toy it’s so cute. you can tell she loves attention and she loves to be loved. she is such a little cutie and i am praying every day that she finds a home that loves her the way she should be!!” Meet - https://youtube.com/shorts/0qkKZe0xxyI?feature=share Interested in this furry companion? Story
Clyde is a sweet, energetic, and incredibly cuddly 9-year-old pup looking for his perfect forever home. He’s the kind of dog who loves being close to his people and is a total companion dog who thrives on affection and can happily go with the flow. Clyde is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He does well with female dogs, and would do best as the only dog in the home or paired with a friendly female dog. His favorite things include playing fetch, cuddling, and keeping an eye on squirrels. Clyde has received extensive training for dog reactivity, and he has made great progress, though he can still struggle on walks. For that reason, he is happiest playing in a secure fenced yard and enjoying enrichment. I’m happy to share contact information for his trainer with anyone interested in continuing his progress. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who just wants to be near his person, Clyde could be the perfect match.

Story
Kenny is a 3 month old heeler-mix puppy, who is submissive and silly and sweet as can be. He is quiet in his kennel and is doing excellent with potty training, and hates to potty in his kennel. Kenny came in with his mom, Midge, and they are truly the sweetest little duo in the world. They love to share a kennel and play so nicely together all day long. We would like to see Midge and Kenny adopted together, and will be prioritizing applications that would like to adopt them both. If interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application at the following link- https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt
