Tobi is 4 years old, he loves to play with toys and fetching is his favorite game. He can run run run and keep running. He needs to get exercise. I don’t have the time he needs, he ends up in a kennel most of the time. I love him and he's so smart. I just can’t be what he needs anymore. I want him to be happy and loved. He gets along pretty well with smaller dogs for the most part. Tobi had some trouble getting along with people but he seems fine with strangers now after working on it with him. He has been around cats and does okay but he does like to play and chase, he doesn’t hurt them. He’s a sweet boy, sometimes he will calm down enough to cuddle. But he’s very smart, knows words like wait, sit, high five, shakes with both hands. I just want him to be able to go outside and run to his hearts content.

Mac came to rescue as a puppy last summer with his three siblings, Dee, Dennis, and Charlie. All three of them were adopted promptly, but somehow Mac is still waiting for his turn. His siblings looked more like German Shepherd mixes, but Mac took a different direction. At just 36 lbs, he looks more like a Border Collie/Heeler mix and is a great medium size. Mac is a happy, easygoing boy who is very low maintenance and doesn't need constant attention or entertainment. He's great with other dogs and with cats and is perfectly content just being part of everyday life. After watching all three of his siblings leave for homes of their own, it's time for Mac to finally get his. Good fit: someone looking for a happy, easygoing, low-maintenance companion who gets along well with both dogs and cats. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Gavin has a tiny blue speck in one of his eyes that makes an already handsome face even more unique. At around 2 years old and 37 lbs, he may be a Heeler/Border Collie mix and is a great medium size. Gavin is a friendly, mellow guy who gets along great with other dogs. Despite the breeds he resembles, he isn't a high-strung, constantly-on-the-go dog. Alder is basically the dog version of an introvert. Quiet, gentle, low-key, and completely content doing his own thing, Alder is one of the easiest and lowest-maintenance dogs I have ever had in the rescue out of hundreds of dogs. He is around a year old and was originally labeled as a pit bull mix at the shelter when he was younger and still looked like a generic puppy. But now that he is older, it is very obvious that he is not a pittie and instead looks much more like a Border Collie mix. Alder is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and also great with cats. He peacefully coexists with everyone but honestly doesn’t care much about joining the chaos or playing constantly. He prefers to quietly exist nearby and observe the world at his own pace. He is shy and hesitant with new people at first, but there is not an ounce of aggression in him. He is simply a soft, sensitive dog who takes a little time to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, Alder is incredibly easy to live with. He is not demanding, not hyper, not loud, and not needy. He is the type of dog who quietly becomes part of your daily life without bringing chaos into it. Good fit: someone looking for a calm, quiet, low-maintenance companion who does not need constant stimulation or activity to be happy. Oakley, Red Heeler, 4 yrs., male. Oakley is a little hesitant to meet a new person but once he knows you, he is very loving and loves attention. He walks well on a leash, is food motivated, quick to learn, and knows basic training skills. He needs to go to a home with no other pets but out in public he does fine when passing dogs on the street he just doesn’t want to live with them. He was surrendered by his owner.
