Story
Nicole is the sweetest girl with a heart full of love and a personality that's impossible to resist. She absolutely loves playing fetch and would happily chase a ball for hours before curling up beside you for a well-earned nap.
Nicole thrives on attention, adores being pet, and greets her favorite people with the cutest tippy-tappy feet and a full-body tail wag that's guaranteed to make you smile. She has a fun, playful spirit but also knows how to settle in and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with her family.
She's making wonderful progress with both potty training and kennel training. Because she loves being with her people, she may let you know she'd rather not be left behind with a few vocal protests, but she's continuing to build confidence in foster care.
Nicole is incredibly friendly with people and has enjoyed meeting everyone she's encountered. She can be a little shy when first meeting new dogs, but once she's had a chance to settle in, she enjoys their company. She has not yet been introduced to cats or children.
Smart, affectionate, and eager to engage with her family, Nicole is a quick learner who's ready to continue building her skills with positive reinforcement. She's looking for a home that will embrace her playful personality, include her in everyday adventures, and return all the love she's so eager to give.
Nicole is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Nicole is also tested with other dogs, and working on perfecting her potty and kennel training in foster care. She has not tested with cats or young children. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.
The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.
We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)
Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.
Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.
