Story
Hi! I`m Freya and I am an energetic young dog who is looking for an active home that loves getting out of the house for hikes, jogs, walks and playing. I enjoy meeting other dogs but I can be rambunctious and pushy with my friends so I`ll need to meet any dogs in the home at the shelter to make sure we are a good fit. I have a good history with older kids and would love a home with teenagers who will play with me. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Finnagin, Border Collie mix, 1.5 yrs., 40 lbs. Finnagan is a little shy for just a second then is a friendly outgoing dog that was surrendered because his owner became ill and could no longer take care of him. He’s active and still acts like a puppy. Good with other dogs. We prefer a home with someone home most of the time and another young dog for him to play with. He’s always been with another dog. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Indie is a silly, intelligent, energetic 4-year-old Border Collie/Pyrenese mix looking for a great home. Indie loves off leash adventures, laying near her person(s) at all times, meeting new people and playing (she’s a HUGE fan of tug and is becoming an avid fetcher!) She is a great roadtrip, camping, hiking/running and cuddle buddy; and would thrive in a home that is committed to her varied enrichment and exercise every day. Indie is crate trained, has a solid sit, down and recall and always loves learning. Indie is sensitive and eager to learn, with the occasional streak of stubborn independence. She would do best in a home without children or cats as she can be excitable and occasionally mouthy. This sweet girl can also be shy around dogs (but becoming more comfortable every day!) as she has a history of fear reactivity, but she is very food motivated which makes her easy to manage. Indie has been a gift to raise but I am no longer able to keep up with her needs due to health issues

Story
Bram is a 1.5 year old border collie mix. He is very bouncy and goofy, and loves people very much. He can be shy on noisy streets and loud environments, and has so far mostly enjoyed being in the yard and around his people and dog friends, rather than out exploring the world. He does well on quiet hikes but does not want to live in a big city. Bram is fairly kennel-reactive, but great with dogs when he is not in the kennel. Bram is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Meet Maltz, a joyful, affectionate boy who isn’t shy about showing how much he loves you! His favorite way to say hello is by jumping up to give you a hug, and when he gets excited, his whole body wiggles with happiness. Maltz has a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes. Because of his enthusiastic greetings and jumpy, wiggly nature, Maltz would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and older who can handle his excitement and help reinforce good manners. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine friends to play with or simply relax beside. Maltz is a loving, happy pup who just wants to share his affection with everyone around him. With continued guidance and a family who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll make an incredibly fun and devoted companion. Volunteers say: "Maltz is as soft as a baby bunny and just as sweet!" "Maltz is the perfect pup...so well-behaved and calm for his age, and he sits well for treats." "Maltz has the sweetest face and the softest fur. He has the body of a puppy, but has wonderful manners and is the best cuddle bug." "Maltz is the perfect pup...he's so well-behaved and smart. He sits unprompted for treats!"
