Story
Indie is a silly, intelligent, energetic 4-year-old Border Collie/Pyrenese mix looking for a great home. Indie loves off leash adventures, laying near her person(s) at all times, meeting new people and playing (she’s a HUGE fan of tug and is becoming an avid fetcher!) She is a great roadtrip, camping, hiking/running and cuddle buddy; and would thrive in a home that is committed to her varied enrichment and exercise every day. Indie is crate trained, has a solid sit, down and recall and always loves learning. Indie is sensitive and eager to learn, with the occasional streak of stubborn independence. She would do best in a home without children or cats as she can be excitable and occasionally mouthy. This sweet girl can also be shy around dogs (but becoming more comfortable every day!) as she has a history of fear reactivity, but she is very food motivated which makes her easy to manage. Indie has been a gift to raise but I am no longer able to keep up with her needs due to health issues

Story
Oscar is an almost 2 year old Border Collie mix. Sadly, Oscar spent the majority of his life in a large shelter. He went in when he was about 10 weeks old and stayed there until he was a year and a half, when we were able to get him out. Since then he's been in a foster home. He was very very nervous when he first came in, and wanted nothing to do with new people. He was very gentle however and would just cower or hide when nervous. Since being in foster, he has come a very long way. He walks very well on leash with his trusted people, and doesn't seem scared of car/traffic noises. He is still very shy of new people, but once warmed up he's very sweet and offers tail wags, and likes to be pet. He is kennel trained and likes to go into his kennel as a safe space, and is very food motivated. He is potty trained and will potty on leash. Oscar will need. very patient and quiet home, with the understanding that he will take time to warm up but then will be a very sweet guy. We also recommend he go to a home with other dogs, since he absolutely loves all other dogs and will need a confident dog to show him that things are ok! Oscar is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Oliver is an approx. 10 month old border collie mix looking for his forever home. He was brought into a shelter in New Mexico by Animal Control, where he sat at the back of his kennel curled up and nervous for weeks. Immediately after coming up to Colorado, his personality came out. He is a goofy, sweet boy, with the most gorgeous merle coat and blue eyes, who loves playing with all other dogs, people, and has recently discovered toys! He is looking for a family who would like to bring him on adventures, show him the best parts of being a house dog, and give him lots of treats and snuggles. He is kennel trained and potty trained, and is learning to walk well on a leash. We will prioritize applicants with other dogs, since Oliver LOVES other dogs. Oliver is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $350. Story
Meet Leek, a joyful, affectionate boy who isn’t shy about showing how much he loves you! His favorite way to say hello is by jumping up to give you a hug, and when he gets excited, his whole body wiggles with happiness. Leek has a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he brings so much fun and energy wherever he goes. Because of his enthusiastic greetings and jumpy, wiggly nature, Leek would do best in a home with kids aged 14 and older who can handle his excitement and help reinforce good manners. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having canine friends to play with or simply relax beside. Leek is a loving, happy pup who just wants to share his affection with everyone around him. With continued guidance and a family who appreciates his playful spirit, he’ll make an incredibly fun and devoted companion. Volunteers say: "Leek is as soft as a baby bunny and just as sweet!"
