Story
Thank you for your interest in adopting Rookie. he is a very affectionate, loyal, and smart animal. He would be an excellent companion for anyone. We are sad to re-home him, but he and our older male dog do not get along. Rookie must be adopted by a family with no other animals. An experienced adopter is preferred. Aside from this one shortfall, he is a perfect companion. He is great with our two young daughters, listens to commands, will stay by your side, and loves to snuggle. He is tri-paw'd, meaning he only has three legs, but this does not slow him down at all (back leg missing since he was 3 months old). He walks and runs just fine. If you would like more photos or videos of Rookie, please let us know. And if you are interested in adopting him, we would be happy to set up a visit for you to meet.

Story
Pax is an eleven year old Border Collie that was adopted from our facility over ten years ago. Unfortunately, he was picked up as a stray and we were thrilled to find a microchip on our ol' man and to see that he was JTAC alumni. Sadly, we weren't able to make contact with his previous adopters, despite phone calls and a notice mailed. With senior animals, we have to take extra precaution because we are usually unaware of their true health status. Thanks to the JJC Vet Tech Program, they were able to do xrays and bloodwork on him. Our vet gave him the clearance to go up for adoption so he is now looking to find his last home to spend his golden years in. Although Pax is an old man, he has PLENTY of pep left and loves to play. Toys, tennis balls, and treats are his favorite and he has no issue working for them. He loves to play fetch and can chase a ball from sun up to sun down. He loves to sit, lay down, give paw, and occasionally bark on command for his treats. He did okay with other dogs but can be picky as he's an old boy who doesn't have the patience for ruckus or wrestling. He would do great as an only dog or another dog that is mellow and respects his space. He is also looking for a home without cats. If you have a soft spot for senior dogs, Pax is your guy! His adoption fee is $90, which includes his vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, heartworm test, heartworm/flea prevention, registered microchip, and neuter. He is already fixed!

Story
Luna is a healthy, happy and friendly purebred Boarder Collie in white and yellow (rare)! Facts about Luna: 1. She is 2 year old, spayed with all shots up to date and microchips. 2. She is very friendly to human and would make friends with everyone. She loves to be petted! 3. She is super smart and knows many tricks! She has unlimited potential. 4. She is very fast and agile. 5. She is food driven so very easy to train. 6. She needs a lot of attention and exercise! Ideal adopter should have: 1. Time. It'd be very satisfactory to train her and play with her! 2. No other pets at home. Since she needs a lot of attention, she doesn't get along very well with other dogs because she wants all your love! We have to rehome her because both of us now need to work in office 3-4 days per week and we can't give her the time and attention she deserves and we feel sorry for her. If you are retired and feel lonely at home, she will be your best partner! Serious inquiry only. Fee is negotiatable

Story
Hi I'm Kenzie! I was adopted out a little bit ago but I was returned. :( I was trying to herd smaller children, so I need a new family with older children. I love my job as a herding breed and don't mean any harm. I'm an active and intelligent breed that would do great with an active family or maybe one that loves my breed. I'm a sweet girl ready for my furever! I'm in TN but I can be transported to my new people. Apply and bring me home to stay!

Story
I am one of the 3 brothers that caught a ride up North to find a family that would appreciate all the love and loyalty that I have. The Tenn shelter gave us a birthdate of 12/16/23 but no one knows if that is accurate although probably pretty close. I am a sweet and gentle soul and play nicely with my brothers. If interested in meeting me, PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION on the website of www.4Paws4U4Ever.com under How To Adopt. Thank you
