🐾 Meet Scott! A Smart Little Pup with a BIG Personality! 💙
Looking for a playful little sidekick who will keep you smiling, fill your days with fun, and always be ready for an adventure? Meet Scott, an adorable 2½-month-old Border Collie mix with a handsome black-and-white coat, a curious mind, and a whole lot of puppy love to give!
Scott is a happy, energetic little guy who loves to play! His absolute favorite activity is a good game of tug-of-war, especially with his rope toys. He's also a fan of stuffed toys, treats, and spending time with his people. Whether he's playing, exploring, or discovering something new, Scott approaches life with all the excitement you'd expect from a young puppy.
But Scott isn't all go, go, go! After a fun play session, he's happy to settle down for a well-deserved nap. He loves being near his people and enjoys cuddling just as much as playing. He's the perfect combination of puppy energy and sweet snuggles!
Scott is a friendly little social butterfly! He loves everyone he meets and is quick to make new friends. He does well with other dogs and adjusts nicely to new environments. New places and sounds don't seem to bother him much, and his curious, outgoing personality makes him eager to explore the world around him.
And did we mention he's smart? Scott is already learning to "sit," and his foster family has noticed how quickly he catches on when given a consistent routine. He's a clever little pup who will benefit from a family excited to continue teaching him new things!
For such a young puppy, Scott is already doing well with his crate routine! He may protest for a minute when it's time to go in, but he settles down quickly and sleeps through the night in his crate. He's also comfortable relaxing on a dog bed or spending time near his people.
Like any puppy his age, Scott is still learning the ropes. He's working on potty training and has been successfully going outside, but he'll need continued practice and a consistent schedule. He's also in the middle of teething, which means those little puppy teeth sometimes find their way onto hands during playtime! Appropriate chew toys, redirection, and positive reinforcement will help him learn good puppy manners.
Scott is also just beginning to learn leash manners and will need continued guidance as he grows. With his intelligence and enthusiasm, he'll benefit from training that keeps his mind engaged and helps him channel his energy in positive ways.
🏡 Scott's Dream Home
Scott would love an active, loving family ready for all the fun and responsibility that comes with raising a puppy. He'll thrive with people who can provide a consistent routine, plenty of playtime, positive training, and lots of affection.
Another friendly dog could be a wonderful companion, but most importantly, Scott needs a family who will include him in everyday life and help him continue learning. As a Border Collie mix, he'll likely enjoy an active lifestyle with opportunities for both physical exercise and mental enrichment as he gets older.
Scott may be small now, but he's already showing signs of being a wonderful companion. He's sweet, smart, affectionate, and full of personality. All he needs is a family willing to guide him as he grows.
If you're looking for a clever, playful little best friend who will bring laughter, adventures, and plenty of puppy snuggles into your life, Scott might just be your perfect match! 💙🐾
