Hi my name is Sajack. My foster parents sometimes call me “Jack” for short. I am a border collie mix who is 5 years old and loves all the head scratches possible. My foster parents think I’m adorable when I smile. I am housebroken and kennel trained. I enjoy going on walks and still working on not pulling on my leash. I love people and dog and kid friendly but not sure about cats yet. Sudden moves or noises scare me, so make sure you’re ready to hug me and reassure that everything is ok. I enjoy walks, doing zoomies and playing with my toys, especially squeaky balls. Those are my favorite! Basic words that I understand and listen to so far are: sit, lay down, no, shower time, eat, potty time, and outside. I am a very good boy, handsome and well behaved around others. I do admit I enjoy smelling nice and fresh after a shower but the sound of water scares me and let’s not talk about the dryer. But as long as you’re patient and affectionate, I’ll get through the shower in no time. Though I like being active, I enjoy my afternoon naps with my foster mom in her office while she works. I don’t bark but I like chasing squirrels when I see one. I adjust to your schedule quite fast and I hope you choose me as your furever companion. I promise I’ll be by your side at all times! How can you look Selena in those puppy eyes and not fall in love? She has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Somebody dropped her off at a house and the homeowner said if we would not take her, he would just take and dump her off at someone else's place. This is way too good a dog for that nonsense! Selena is such a perfect little lady. She is very sweet and loving. She adores running and playing but she is all for the attention from her human friends. She gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Selena has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Transport to the Great Lakes area and the North East available to your area and if you’re seeing this on adopt a pet the fees for transport are included in the adoption fee! We use Rescue Riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Do you Love Lucy? We love Lucy! This sweet pup found herself on the urgent list at our local city shelter. We are dumbfounded that she was there at our local city shelter for so long and no one came to claim her and no one wanted to adopt her. She is quite an awesome dog! She is smart and loving. She likes to give hugs and kisses. She loves to play with other dogs she would do great in a home with another dog that also loves to play. An active home would be great for her as well. She will need to have physical and mental stimulation in order to love a happy balanced life. She walks ok on leash. Some pulling but not too bad just needs a little twerking on the leash manners. She knows sit and her recall is pretty good. She is crate trained and house trained. This beautiful six month old Border Collie and Flat-coated Retriever mix is very smart for his age and will need someone who's home during the day to continue with training and guide him to becoming the best he can be. Bugatti was found alone when only 4 weeks old and stayed in foster care until old enough to be brought here from Texas. He is doing very well with housebreaking, knows sit, come, working on stay, crate trained, and learning to walk on a leash. Matter of fact; even at this young age he has gone on walks of several miles and absolutely loves it! He also loves meeting new dogs and people but can be cautious at first but gets comfortable very quickly and then wants to play. A fenced yard will be required. Meet Harvey, a handsome black and white Border Collie mix with a calm and gentle demeanor. Harvey is a quiet, independent soul who enjoys his alone time but also gets along well and thrives with other dogs. He is house-trained and has made great strides in his foster home, where he's been working on building his confidence. Harvey has recently started enjoying twice-daily walks and is getting better at navigating the world around him. He's still a bit uneasy on walks, so his foster parent crosses the street when needed, but he's improving every day. Harvey has a unique way of expressing himself-he'll lie down when it's time to hook up his leash and even lies down when people pass by, showing his calm nature. Although Harvey is still learning to trust, his tail is always wagging, and he greets visitors with happiness, often giving a gentle nudge from behind. He loves spending time in the kiddie pool and has recently started playing with toys, showing his playful side. Harvey prefers to eat outside and is still working on taking treats from humans' hands, but he's making progress. After walks, Harvey enjoys a little affection while on the leash, though he's still a bit apprehensive. He's learning that being petted is a good thing, and he'll even bump his foster parent with his nose as a sign of trust. Harvey feels most secure in his bed in the bedroom, where he sleeps peacefully. While he's still working on avoiding chewing things he shouldn't, Harvey is improving every day. He's not a fan of loud noises close by, but he did well with fireworks when indoors. Harvey is looking for a patient and loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. Bohdi is about one year old and weighs 50lbs. He may be an Aussie mix or Bernese Mountain dog mix, he’s got the cutest face! He’s uninterested and respectful of our family cats and enjoys other dogs. He adores people and loves to snuggle. Bohdi has some puppy left in him and doesn’t seem to have much sense of personal space. So if you don’t plan on sharing your pillow with him, expect that Bohdi will need some training and boundaries, because he’d prefer to be in your arms all day! He enjoys car rides and walks, and could use some work walking on one side of you and not zigzagging around. He’d be a great running partner, and is very pleasant to everyone he meets on his adventures. Bohdi is already neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his shots.
