This sweet, smart, fluff ball is on the lookout for her home! Umi (YOU-ME) is fairly chill for a border collie mix, but definitely loves to follow bunny trails. She is VERY food motivated and loves any and every treat! Umi likes to explore the outside, get cuddles, eat, and take naps. She’s a rockstar at sit and leashing up. We’re working on her barking, but she just gets so excited! She would like either calm dog companions who will let her have a space bubble or to be the spoiled princess of your home. She currently lives with a cat, but she does have some herding behaviors so she’d need to meet a potential kitty sibling first to make a happy match on all sides. This love bug is ready for her family to find her! The adoption fee for Umi is $400. This donation helps to cover veterinary expenses including spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations. This beautiful six month old Border Collie and Flat-coated Retriever mix is very smart for his age and will need someone who's home during the day to continue with training and guide him to becoming the best he can be. Bugatti was found alone when only 4 weeks old and stayed in foster care until old enough to be brought here from Texas. He is doing very well with housebreaking, knows sit, come, working on stay, crate trained, and learning to walk on a leash. Matter of fact; even at this young age he has gone on walks of several miles and absolutely loves it! He also loves meeting new dogs and people but can be cautious at first but gets comfortable very quickly and then wants to play. A fenced yard will be required. Hi my name is Sajack. My foster parents sometimes call me “Jack” for short. I am a border collie mix who is 5 years old and loves all the head scratches possible. My foster parents think I’m adorable when I smile. I am housebroken and kennel trained. I enjoy going on walks and still working on not pulling on my leash. I love people and dog and kid friendly but not sure about cats yet. Sudden moves or noises scare me, so make sure you’re ready to hug me and reassure that everything is ok. I enjoy walks, doing zoomies and playing with my toys, especially squeaky balls. Those are my favorite! Basic words that I understand and listen to so far are: sit, lay down, no, shower time, eat, potty time, and outside. I am a very good boy, handsome and well behaved around others. I do admit I enjoy smelling nice and fresh after a shower but the sound of water scares me and let’s not talk about the dryer. But as long as you’re patient and affectionate, I’ll get through the shower in no time. Though I like being active, I enjoy my afternoon naps with my foster mom in her office while she works. I don’t bark but I like chasing squirrels when I see one. I adjust to your schedule quite fast and I hope you choose me as your furever companion. I promise I’ll be by your side at all times! How can you look Selena in those puppy eyes and not fall in love? She has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Somebody dropped her off at a house and the homeowner said if we would not take her, he would just take and dump her off at someone else's place. This is way too good a dog for that nonsense! Selena is such a perfect little lady. She is very sweet and loving. She adores running and playing but she is all for the attention from her human friends. She gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Selena has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. We use Rescue Riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Do you Love Lucy? We love Lucy! This sweet pup found herself on the urgent list at our local city shelter. We are dumbfounded that she was there at our local city shelter for so long and no one came to claim her and no one wanted to adopt her. She is quite an awesome dog! She is smart and loving. She likes to give hugs and kisses. She loves to play with other dogs she would do great in a home with another dog that also loves to play. An active home would be great for her as well. She will need to have physical and mental stimulation in order to love a happy balanced life. She walks ok on leash. Some pulling but not too bad just needs a little twerking on the leash manners. She knows sit and her recall is pretty good. She is crate trained and house trained.
