Story
Meet Lacey! Hi I’m Lacey - a spunky senior lady with lots of love to give, and it's reported that I still have a good amount of energy (not too much, but I do love running in the back yard and as soon as the backdoor opens, I shoot out!). I also love going for walks and do well on the leash, but I’m also happy to snooze in my dog bed. At just 25 pounds (I know, I look bigger) I’m a respectful house guest! Also, there are no accidents here, and I sleep in my kennel at night, and it's so cozy, I don't make a peep, though I do get barky in the backyard. Gotta protect my territory, ya know? I live in a foster home with several other dogs of all sizes, and we all get along. I also live with a baby human and a little human and my foster parents. I love people, especially when they pet me. I’m so soft, how can you resist?? I have a little bit of arthritis, as us old dogs sometimes get, but it doesn’t bother me much. My eyesight also isn’t the greatest, but I get around, ok. I’m a pretty girl, and if you like floofs, I'm the gal for you! *Lacey is being fostered in Madison, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $300, ($550 for a pair). Learn more about Albert's Dog Lounge, our mission, and adoption policies by visiting Albertsdoglounge.org. BEST DOG EVER! LOVES PEOPLE AND OTHER DOGS! Missing out on an excellent family pet. Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com I need a family with an owned house with yard and a friendly dog friend I can play with. Bonnie is a female 1 yr old 41 lb Border Collie. She loves other dogs and people. She is an energetic, very affectionate and smart gal that likes playing with her foster dogs and toys. She likes to swim too. She is crate trained. She is a great companion for an active/outdoorsy family with a securely fenced yard. She is an indoor dog that will enjoy daily walks/hikes and some dog training. No apartments! No cats please. Border Collie experience highly recommended. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 500,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Wow We're some lucky pups. We're lucky we're cute! A whole village of people brought us up from the south. The owners wanted to keep our beautiful pomeranian mix mom. This rescue agreed as long as her spay was in the books. The Charlie Project will be funding her spay and keeping in touch. We were taken in by a very nice lady who kept us safe until we could get up north We are nothing but fun!!! We love to play and wrestle each other. Our attitude is here and now and hey, we're puppies so we have lots of energy. We love toys and we do pretty good with treats for training! Smart? Boy are we! We can herd an entire flock of sheep, it's in our ancestry is so, if there's a small child we will attempt to herd. Fantastic agility skills and beautiful too. We are forever friends we come with our health certificates, bordatella, microchip, current vaccines, dewormer, and our spay/ nueter is included at our rescue vet. Otherwise you will be reimbursed 100 upon proof of alter from your vet. This must be done by 6 months of age. They currently range anywhere from 400-800 at a vet. Your best option is ours Our mission is spay/neuter so we must enforce this contract to the fullest. Please Il/WI and please realize we are volunteer based and will get to applications as soon as we can. If you're working with another rescue please let us know that you are withdrawing your application if you have found another dog. This takes hours away from our families but we try to prioritize finding homes Please apply at thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com make sure to fill everything in asterisks out so you get a confirmation email ADOPTION FEE $550 DACPT#506053 Please visit our website www.thecharlieprojectdogrescue.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
