Babe DJ is a precious pup who found himself in a crowded shelter in Georgia. Thankfully, he was rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and is now safe, loved, and ready to find his forever home. Could that be with YOU?
This Border Collie / Lab mix (best guess) is sweet, cuddly, playful & absolutely loveable. DJ is affectionate and will ask for "uppies" — he just wants to be held close. He is playful and full of fun. He is doing great with crate training and gets along with kids, other dogs & cats. He is in his prime age for training and socialization too.
DJ will thrive with a family who has love to give and a warm lap to offer. DJ checks all the boxes of what someone could ask for in a dog. He will make an excellent family pet. Apply today through K-9 Lifesavers and change this deserving boy's life forever. He's been waiting for you, and we promise — you won't regret it!
Every dog deserves a forever home. Be Babe DJ's.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
