Story
Apply at www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/sms-a-20 Meet Gabby. Initially, she may seem very shy and reserved, but once she warms up to you, she'll be your best friend for life. At about 6 months old, she's still quite small. Due to her breed, we would prefer a home without cats. However, Gabby will flourish in a home with at least one other dog to bolster her confidence. Get to know this sweet little one, and you're certain to fall in love.

Story
Arlo is an energetic young dog that loves cuddles, but loves to fetch even more. He has grown up with a senior dog and young children in the home so is accustomed to both. He also enjoys meeting new people. He has had DNA testing done and is 50% Border Collie, 25% GSD, and 25% Husky. He likes to play rough with other dogs (has never bitten) and will sometimes resource guard a bone (he’s not a sharer with bones), but never food. He would do best in a home with someone who has the time to dedicate to his exercise needs and has either another medium/large dog or no other pets. We have had him since he was a puppy and care for him dearly, but we believe he would do best with someone who has more time.

Story
East TN. Out of state welcome. Transport may be available to your area in the Great Lakes or northeast regions. If you are seeing this on adopt a pet the great news is the transport fee is covered in the adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders for Meet Daphne. She and her sister were surrendered to rescue by their owners who said they were 4-5 months old. When we received them they were certainly not 4-5 months old they were only 4-5 weeks old!! We were not aware if this and would have sent them back to be with their momma, however when we saw their condition we decided they would be better off with us. They were loaded with fleas and their skin had open sores and rashes and raw spots and infection from scratching the fleas. They were finally healthy enough for their spay and are about eight weeks old now. They have had two rounds of puppy vaccines and spay and microchipped. They will need two more rounds of puppy shots and rabies when they are old enough. They are super sweet puppies and a little shy at first but they have pretty good confidence. We were told momma was a rat terrier type and they said daddy was a mixed breed medium sized dog. So we can o it guess they will turn out to be a small-medium size fully grown. We offered to have momma and daddy spayed and neutered and were told they have vouchers for them already. Apply at Path.org
