Story
Pappy is, what we call in rescue, a “very good boy!” He is young; estimated to be between 1-2 years old. He weighs 45-50 pounds and we believe he is a red Border Collie/ Great Pyrenees mix. This is an educated guess, based on his coloring and double back do claws, so Great Pyrenees mix is very likely. Pappy has interacted favorably with many other dogs in rescue. He is most friendly with female dogs and submissive males and super friendly with people! He has a gentle nature and is affectionate. He will be a fun and easy addition to any active family or individual wanting to add a 4-legged companion who will be an eager partner in crime and a constant source of unconditional love. He is pretty good on a leash and crate trained.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Ally is a 7 year old Border Collie mix. She is 57 lbs. I got her from a shelter when she was 14 months old. She is good with other dogs, but has not been around cats. She also does well with my 6 year old granddaughter. I have a dog bed, toys, bowls, and a cage. I rarely use the cage and I do not keep her caged while I'm at work all day. I want to find a good home for Ally. I recently got married and my new husband is very allergic to her. We are living in separate homes until I can find her a new home.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Cash is the sweetest young girl with a fun personality to match her unique looks. She is curious and friendly. She loves other dogs and everyone she meets! Not sure how she would do with cats, but seems to be respectful of other animals, but very playful. She has been great at the dog park and loves all the other dogs! She is housebroken and will go in her crate, but doesn’t love to spend too much time there. She is young and enjoys exercise, but is making progress on her training. She is smart and eager to please. Click here to watch a video of Cash - APPLICATIONS CLOSED.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. May 13, 2025, 9:31 pm

Story
This girl ended in the shelter due to her owner being arrested and not being able to find her a home. Gracie is a great dog who has fit into her foster home quite well. She is learning about cats and being on a leash. She is housebroken with a dog door but was also house trained without one. She is a bit of energy so will need an active family to keep up! She is friendly and has gotten a long with other dogs of various sizes really well. She loves to play and is pure fun! She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Mork and Mindy were found by a dumpster at an apartment complex looking lost and bewildered. So, we decided to take them to the clinic to get them all checked out and cleaned up to see if we could find them a loving home. Mork has been fully vetted, up to date on all shots, neutered and microchipped. So, he is all ready to go to his new forever home. Won't you send in an inquiry about him to see if you are a good match? We are pretty sure that Mork and Mindy are simply looking for a family they can live with and show all of their attention and love to. They were so sad when we found them but have warmed up to our staff and are extremely loving. They are very playful and just love all of the attention.

Story
Hi My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 1.5 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house , riding in the car and walking on a leash. When you first meet me , I act scared to death. My mom rejected me and my siblings at 2 weeks old. My foster mom thinks it is part of the reason I lack confidence when we first meet. It just takes a few times of meeting with you, and I get very attached and do not act so scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love my crate ; it is a great safe spot for me in the house. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I would love a female owner and no young kids in the house with me. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day.

Dixie is an energetic girl who just wants to be near her human - she prefers women. She loves to roll in the grass in the sunshine and take walks. Dixie is energetic and enjoys running around at a dog park. She would love to find a home where she feels secure and can be active. She will need time to settle in and get used to the routines of the household. Dixie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give.
