She’s current on her vaccines and is being treated for heartworms on slow kill method by The Artemis Project, who will continue to provide the medications for the duration of my treatment even if you adopt me so please don’t let that stop you! This beautiful lady has a great personality! She's gentle, a little shy, and quietly hoping for someone to notice her. She's simply looking for a home where she’ll be loved and treated like a member of the family. She’s gonna make some lucky family the bestest companion, full of love and loyalty. She is great with other dogs as well as kids... and she even gets along with cats!! Her foster family says this: "She's great! Potty trained knows commands and just all around happy. Loves to cuddle. Dee is a cattle dog mix with classic traits—sharp eye for squirrels, lots of energy, and strong devotion to her people. Her foster mom shares: Dee was very scared at first, but within days her silly, sweet personality came out. She’s loving, active, fully house trained (no accidents), and crate trained. She plays great with other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash. She can be a little skittish with new things at first, but adjusts quickly and looks to her humans for reassurance—she’s already conquered her fear of the car and household noises. Dee loves to cuddle and will happily snuggle on the couch. Every person she meets is her new best friend. She’s respectful of older cats but may chase younger ones, so a cat-free home might be best. A fenced yard is a plus but not required—she’ll thrive with plenty of exercise and would make a great walking partner! Dee had hip surgery in February but has healed and it's not slowing her down. She's currently walking 2 miles a day + running around the yard with the occasional zoomies. If you have a playful dog and think he/she would love a friend, this dog would be great, but a second dog is not a requirement. And yes—she’s just as cute as her pictures.

Meet Roxanne! This sweet cattle dog mix is such a cuddle bug! At just four months old, she is already keeping her indoor area clean and goes outside to potty. Roxanne does well with other dogs and cats and loves attention. At this time, she is not a fan of being crated but does well outside of her crate. Roxanne’s current foster says she is absolutely precious and she could just hold her all day long. This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions.
