We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! Story
Abner came to us after being given away on social media at just 4 weeks old. He is now 6.5 months old and ready to find a forever home. He is about 35 lbs and growing. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, preventions and chipped. He is a fun pup who loves to play with his foster friends and toys. He would be a great addition to any family. He is being housed in Tennessee right now but no worries because we use Rescue Riders Pet Transport who alternate going to the Northeast and the Great Lakes every weekend.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This beautiful girl was dumped off in the country where she stayed waiting for her owner to come back for a week. Most times she laid in the road and people had to drive around her. After a week someone called us and we went to get her. She is not only beautiful, but she is also smart and sweet. Unfortunately, she tested positive for heartworms when we took her to the vet. That was four months ago. She has now been fully treated and is ready to live a long, happy, healthy life with her new family. Irelyn is spayed and UTD on all vaccines. She loves walks, is good in the car and is housetrained. She is a dominant female so a home with easy going males would be fine. She loves to be brushed and enjoys zoomies around the yard. If you would like to add the special girl to your forever family, please contact dogs4mylife@gmail.com or omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info, application and additional pics.
