Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Sidney is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. If you have any questions, please email her at abandonedangelsinc@gmail.com. Donations are desperately needed and greatly appreciated for medical care. https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/abandonedangelsinc  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        January 27, 2026, 12:03 am

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Mason is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s learning that the world can be kind again. He’s currently in a foster home in Tennessee with his brother, Monty, and does well with other dogs. Mason is still shy with people—especially men—which is completely understandable given his past. Life on the streets followed by a stay in a high-kill shelter taught him to be cautious, but despite everything he’s been through, Mason has never shown aggression. With patience, consistency, and love, Mason continues to make progress every day. He’ll need a calm, understanding home that allows him to build trust at his own pace. He’s still working on basic training and would benefit from gentle guidance and routine. Mason is an athletic boy and will jump or climb a fence if left unattended, so a secure yard and supervision are important. In return, you’ll gain a loyal companion who just needs someone willing to show him that he’s finally safe. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones and believe in second chances, Mason may be the perfect fit for you.  Mason is hanging out with his rescuer and foster mom, Carol, in Tennessee. Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Goose, a one-year-old smooth-coated Border Collie with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Goose is friendly, playful, and full of busy, happy energy that keeps life interesting. Weighing 36 pounds, he is a wonderful size for an active companion who is always ready to join in on whatever you’re doing. He is the kind of dog who truly wants to be involved and thrives on interaction with his people. One of Goose’s most endearing quirks is his love of collecting toys. He happily gathers every toy he can find from around the room and the toy box, proudly hoarding them in his own special corner as if he’s curating a personal treasure pile. It’s just one of the many ways his bright and entertaining personality shines through. Goose is housetrained, does well in his crate, and walks nicely on a leash. He rides well in the car and enjoys getting out to explore the world. True to his breed, he has a strong herding instinct and loves activities that let him move, think, and engage his brain. Walks, playtime with other dogs, belly rubs, and chew time are all high on his list of favorite things. He is smart, treat-motivated, eager to please, and genuinely affectionate, making him a wonderful partner for training and bonding.  He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with strangers. He can live with a cat as long as interactions are monitored to ensure play stays polite. Goose would be happiest in a home that understands and appreciates herding breeds and is committed to providing him with daily exercise, structure, and ongoing training. With the right outlet for his energy and intelligence, Goose will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and fun companion who is ready to give his whole heart to his future family.  Interested in adopting? Story
Meet the Cheese Litter, five delightfully ridiculous puppy siblings who came to us from a Lancaster farm and are now ready to bring joy, chaos, and dairy‑themed charm into a home of their own. These 3‑month‑old Border Collie/Lab mixes are sweet, energetic, affectionate, and full of puppy mischief. Feta, Gouda, and Brie are the girls of the group. Feta is soft and cuddly, Gouda is smooth and full of confidence, and Brie has mastered the art of cuddling and long soulful stares. Pepper Jack and Cheddar, the boys, bring the boldness. Pepper Jack is the adventurous one, always ready to explore, while Cheddar is equal parts clever and goofy, happy to entertain anyone who watches him try to coordinate his big puppy paws. All five are silly, loving babies who are learning about the world and doing it with enthusiasm. They enjoy cuddles, playtime, and anything that involves being near their people. Expect zoomies, laughter, and endless entertainment as they grow. These puppies would thrive in homes ready for training, patience, and plenty of affection. If you are searching for a fun, lively companion and enjoy naming puns, this litter is ready to make your home a little cheesier in the best way possible. If one of these dairy‑themed darlings sounds like the perfect addition to your family, come meet them before they get snapped up. They are simply too delightful to last long. They will come spayed/ neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. If you are serious about adoption, please fill out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Their adoption fee is $525.
