KENNEL ID #18804 Sidney and his sister Cookie were rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? In his search for help, Mason approached a home, but sadly, the resident dogs attacked him. Though the homeowner managed to break it up, Mason was left with multiple injuries. Thankfully, animal control brought him to safety, and our rescue partners stepped in just in time. He has recovered in a loving foster home. Meet Letty. Letty came to us as part of a local unplanned litter. Mom was a border collie and dad was a pit mix dog that was passing through. Her date of birth is 4/28/2025. She weighs 42 lbs. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her: In the short time we have had her in our home, she has been a delight. She has been good with the other dogs and my kiddo. She seems OK with the bigger cats but gets worked up over the kittens not wanting to be her friend . She came from a farm, and as you can see has been around other types of animals as well.
