OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Cookie was found abandoned on the County Fairgrounds. She is very underweight and afraid; it is difficult for us to do an extensive evaluation on her. She will need someone with patience to help her overcome the trauma she has been through and to trust people again. She isn’t aggressive; she would rather run away than confront any issues that seem threatening to her. She does seem like a very sweet girl that appears to prefer the company of men over women. We think with time, TLC and patience, this little diamond in the rough will become a great companion. She’s timid around the other dogs here at the shelter and is uninterested in cats. She would love to have a quiet home with adults and older, dog-savvy children.Weighs 23 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Hi! My name is Raine and I am 1 year and 5 month old Australian Shepard/Border Collie/Pitbull mix. I am a very playful girl who will make you laugh with my silly personality, and my howls! I am shy at first, but once you gain my trust I am extremely loving and cuddly. I am also very loyal, I will follow you wherever you go! I don’t do well with other dogs right away, I need someone who will take the time to let me warm up to other dogs by going on pack walks. I have been able to make other dog friends by doing this! I will do best in a home with no other animals. I LOVE to go on adventures, especially paddle boarding and hiking. On-leash days in Millcreek canyon are my favorite because I’m able to enjoy the outdoors without other dogs getting in my space! I also love the snow, I could roll and play in it all day long! I am spayed, up-to-date on my vaccinations, crate-trained and potty trained.

Found this little guy sifting through a trash can on a trail I was one. He's the most loving, loyal, fun, happy, out-going, spunky, playful, fearless, and resilient pup anyone could ask for. As much as I wish I could keep him for myself, I know there is a loving home out there for him just waiting to be connected! Hi! Stella is my name and playing is my game! I am a ~1 yr old border collie x German shepherd mix and I am a ball of energy! Four hour hike? No problem. Ten mile trail run? Bring it on! I'm a super social girl who loves to play with other dogs (cats are also really fun to chase, so probably best that I go to a home without them). I'm not big on snuggling; but, once I have my exercise fix for the day I will settle down nicely next to you on the floor. My ideal home would be one that has a big fenced back yard and some active adults (no kids for me please) who want to take me on all of their outdoor adventures. I am learning to like my crate and not to pull so much on a leash. I am house-broken, spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations.
