Story
I have had Ranger since he was 10 weeks old. He is 3 years old (born in October 2020). He is a wonderful dog and fits the profile of an American Border Collie perfectly. I have developed some health issues that are preventing me from providing him with the activity that he needs in his life. Ranger needs a home where he has someone who can routinely spend time with him (fetching a tennis ball or frisbee, going for hikes or runs, getting outside routinely to live the life that a Border Collie enjoys). I am not able to provide that for him anymore. I am not in search of any adoption fee, but just want to find a good home for him where he will be happy. If you would like to hear more about him, please feel free to reach out to me at jonraap@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Milly, a sweet and petite 2 year old border collie. While Milly's life didn't start out so great, she thinks it's pretty great now. Milly was sighted living in a rural industrial park, and had to be trapped to bring her into safety. She is still a bit skittish around new things, but is quickly learning all about the good life. She loves dog beds, her people, walks and hikes, and is learning about toys. Milly is a true border collie, and her herding instinct and desire to work are strong. Milly would love to adventure with you, but she also has a good off switch and is content lounging around when needed. Milly is very small, weighing in at only 27 lbs, which makes her the perfect size to fit on every adventure! Milly will thrive with a family who will help her continue to build her confidence with only positive reinforcement methods, she is eager to learn and grow. Milly is soft and gentle, and while she hasnt figured out cuddling on the couch quite yet, we are sure she will get there! Milly gets along with other dogs, but isnt really playful with them, and would do well living as the only dogs in the home or with other dogs who arent looking for a playmate. Milly is good with cats and birds. Kids are still pretty scary for her, so teenage or older only please. Milly is house trained and crate trained. If you are looking to help this fun loving girl continue to learn all about how great life can be, please apply today!Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
Aspen is a 18 week old Heeler mix female who currently weighs about 25 pounds (and growing!). She is a love bug, enjoys cuddling and snuggling when she is not wiggling or doing zoomies! She has many friends in her foster family, getting along with cats, small chihuahuas, and a big Doberman. She lets the cats sleep in her bed. Aspen is doing awesome with her crate training. She attended 2 full days at puppy school with Kudos 2 Canine training. Potty training is a work in progress, but she is learning from the others. Her favorite joy is to be outside running in the sunshine. If you can keep up with her and enjoy playing she will be your best friend.Aspen would love another playful dog in her adoptive home and a family who takes her out on adventures to see the world outside of her back yard, attends a basic training course with her, and continues to socialize her with other pets, people and places. Aspen's adoption fee is $300 and includes her first years vaccines, deworming, health check, microchip, and spay. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks!
