Story
Bailey's owner unfortunately took his own life over the weekend, and his wife had recently passed away from cancer. Bailey is now under the care of his daughter, who has decided not to keep her and will be taking her to a shelter. I'm a family friend who is trying to help the daughter rehome Bailey so she doesn't take her to a shelter. This poor old girl has lost everything; she's confused and in desperate need of a loving home to live out the rest of her years. At 9 years old, her life as she's known it is over. She would do best in a single-dog household, but with the proper training and time, she could get along with other dogs. She's grown up with kids, gets along with cats (ignores them), and is still very energetic despite her age. She loves to play ball, is leash trained and doesn't pull during walks, and of course, she is very cute! She does have eye drops for her dry eyes and has seen the vet for them before. Please help Bailey, who has been through an unimaginable tragedy.

Story
Marlie is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being close to her people. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, she’s happiest when she’s nearby. She also has a playful, goofy side and loves to show it off with joyful zoomies around the house! She does great on a leash and walks without pulling. Marlie can be timid around other dogs and may do best as the only pet in a calm, patient home where she can build confidence and soak up all the love and attention.

Story
Meet Eli!Eli is an almost 8-year-old Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix with a loyal heart and plenty of life left to share with his forever family. This medium-sized boy loves being outdoors, going for walks, and spending time with the people he trusts.Once Eli gets to know you, he is calm, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. He's happiest relaxing in the backyard, exploring outside, or simply hanging out with his family. Eli is house-trained, healthy, and enjoys regular exercise to keep him happy.Like many herding breeds, Eli is intelligent, alert, and naturally protective. He can be wary of unfamiliar adults and will bark to let you know when someone new is around. With patient, slow introductions, he typically relaxes and becomes much more comfortable. Because of this, Eli is looking for an adopter who understands his personality and is willing to continue using positive reinforcement training to help him build confidence.Eli would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has room to stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. He'll also benefit from someone willing to work on his leash manners, as he gets excited on walks and can pull. Structure, consistency, and daily mental and physical exercise will help him thrive. While Eli tends to be more comfortable around children than unfamiliar adults, introductions should always be supervised. His compatibility with other dogs is unknown, and he does bark at dogs and cats while on leash, so he may do best as the only pet or with careful introductions.Eli is a wonderful companion for someone willing to earn his trust. In return, you'll gain a devoted, affectionate, and faithful best friend who will always be happy to spend time by your side. If you're looking for a loyal dog who enjoys the simple things in life and deserves a loving second chance, Eli is ready to meet you. Hi, I'm Bentley! I'm a 1-year-old, 56-pound bundle of energy, personality, and potential, and I'm looking for a family who loves a smart, playful pup with plenty of enthusiasm for life. I'm a treat-loving guy who enjoys learning new things, showing off my skills, and staying busy with toys, games, and activities. I'm a bright boy who responds well to guidance and positive reinforcement. I enjoy playing with toys and I love having something fun to focus on.
