Story
Introducing Sylvester - the cutest little pup you'll ever lay your eyes on! This charming ball of fur was miraculously saved from the dreaded euthanasia list at our local shelter. Just look at that face - it's impossible not to fall in love! Sylvester is a bundle of joy who adores people, toys, and being showered with hugs. He's the perfect companion for any loving home. He is full of energy. He would do best in a home with another doggie to be able to run around and chase. He loves ALL toys. He is good with kids. He is also very smart and eager to please. He would be a great candidate for agility training because this boy may be part pogostick. He would love an active family who will take him on all of their adventures. He is good in the car, great on the leash, and crate trained. He is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. This boy is ready to go. He is being fostered in Independence, OR and is available for meet and greets with potential adopters. And the best part? We've got you covered, no matter where you are! We offer transportation every two weeks from Houston up to Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. We even have a convenient stop in beautiful Bellingham, WA for our amazing Canadian adopters to pick up their furry friend. So if you're ready to add some unconditional love and endless cuddles to your life, don't miss out on the chance to bring Sylvester home! We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Our adoptable pets are all living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then please fill out your application today. ##1938765##

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Bola got off to a rough start when she arrived here in late February. She had a huge abscess on her neck that required some surgical intervention and short-term fostering. Bola is much better now and is ready to be adopted! This sweet girl is a bit shy with people at first, but doesn’t take long to become friends. She’s neutral toward the other dogs here at the shelter and doesn’t mind cats. She’s full of energy and enjoys playing with toys. She loves treats and prefers those that are soft. She can be a little nippy when playing at times, so caution should be used if around small children. Her foster reported that she’s a great dog that is 90% housetrained. She walks well on the leash and knows the sit command. Weighs 25 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
Aspen is a 6 month old Heeler mix female who currently weighs about 25 pounds (and growing!). She is a love bug, enjoys cuddling and snuggling when she is not wiggling or doing zoomies! She has many friends in her foster family, getting along with cats, small chihuahuas, and a big Doberman. She lets the cats sleep in her bed. Aspen is doing awesome with her crate training. She attended 2 full days at puppy school with Kudos 2 Canine training. Potty training is a work in progress, but she is learning from the others. Her favorite joy is to be outside running in the sunshine. If you can keep up with her and enjoy playing she will be your best friend.Aspen would love another playful dog in her adoptive home and a family who takes her out on adventures to see the world outside of her back yard, attends a basic training course with her, and continues to socialize her with other pets, people and places. Aspen's adoption fee is $300 and includes her first years vaccines, deworming, health check, microchip, and spay. To be considered, please apply online at caws.org. Thanks!
