Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Ily! Which is short for I love you, because we guarantee she does, Ily knows no strangers! This sweet girl is 55 pounds of pure goodness! Ily is for sure an intelligent mixed breed, our best guess is some sort of a cattle dog/border collie mix. She would be a fun girl to get a DNA test for!   As afore mentioned Ily loves EVERYONE! She has yet to meet kids, but would likely be a huge fan. Ily does really well with her foster dog siblings she is usually submissive with them and has great and respectful body language when asking to play. Ily is house broken and crate trained! She quickly figured out the doggy door and is always a good girl about taking herself out to go potty.    Ily’s favorite activities are playing with other dogs, chewing on her toys on a fat fluffy bed, and tossing them around the house so she can pounce on them (as far as we know she has no cat DNA in her bloodline), and getting all the loves.    Ily has been really great at practicing not jumping up when she is struggling to contain her excitement to see you. Ily runs into her crate on command and knows how to sit. Ily loves food and is extremely treat motivated in her training. She is learning the leash and always improving!   Ily has yet to meet a cat but would likely adjust to living with them in the right home. Ily needs love, walks, and good structure in her home and she will flourish. This lady is a delightful companion!   If you’re looking for a special valentine this year then apply to meet Ily @ https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 21, 2026, 1:14 pm

Story
Pet’s Story: His owner in Utah recently passed away, and he lost the person he loved most. He is only 4 years old and one of the smartest dogs I have ever met. He is very well trained, highly intelligent, and loves training, mental games, outdoor walks, and attention. He is deeply attached to people, wonderful with children, good with cats, and has lived indoors in a loving home. Outside, he can be cautious with other dogs but may adapt with time and proper introductions. He is sensitive, not aggressive. This is urgent, as without a new home soon, he may be taken to a shelter. He is looking for a loving family to call home again. He has had two owners in his life and becomes very sad and emotionally affected when he has no stable home. He bonds deeply with his people and truly needs to belong to a family. Story
Meet Buttercup — a smart, sweet, and sensitive girl ready for her perfect home!Buttercup is a 1.5-year-old Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix weighing just 27 lbs, and she’s the perfect combination of sweetness, intelligence, and playful energy. She may start out very shy when meeting new people or entering new environments, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines. When Buttercup trusts you, she really loves you. This girl is still young and full of puppy energy. She has high exercise needs and thrives on daily walks, play sessions, training, and mental challenges. Her favorite thing in the world is playing with other playful dogs, and she’d be thrilled to have a canine buddy in her new home. She is still learning to read cues from dogs who aren’t interested in playing right away, so continued socialization will help her understand those boundaries as she matures.Buttercup is crate trained, house trained, and learning her leash manners—she doesn’t pull, but she’s still working on confidence while out and about. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please, making training both fun and rewarding. She’s very treat-motivated and loves having a “job” to do. She will need continued training to help with manners (she’s been known to hop onto tables or counters if food is present!), but she learns quickly with guidance. She’s good with other dogs, great with patient kids who allow her time to warm up, and while her experience with cats is unknown, her instinct will likely be to play or chase. Buttercup’s perfect family will be active, committed to ongoing training, and excited to provide her with enrichment and structure. Another dog would be a bonus, but the most important thing is a family who will nurture her confidence and give her the stimulation she needs to thrive. Her adorable looks, her gentle sweetness, and the way she blossoms once she trusts you will have you saying 'as you wish.' If you’re looking for a sweet, bright, eager young dog who will adore you endlessly, Buttercup may be your true love.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
