Story
Meet Wednesday! 1 year old • 48 lbs • Border Collie Labrador Retriever MixWednesday is a bright, beautiful girl who’s equal parts playful and sweet. She’s a bundle of energy who loves spending time outside, going for walks, and—her absolute favorite—playing with other dogs! Once she’s gotten her zoomies out, she’s happiest hanging out with her people, following them around the house, or relaxing in a quiet spot under the bed.Wednesday can be a little timid at first and startles easily with sudden noises or fast movements, but once she warms up, her affectionate, goofy side shines through. She’s incredibly eager to please and quick to learn, especially when there’s chicken involved. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and does best in a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. Wednesday is still learning her manners—she can get jumpy when excited and sometimes needs help focusing—but she’s a smart, motivated girl who thrives with patient, consistent guidance.Because she can get overwhelmed in busy or unpredictable environments, Wednesday would do best in an adult-only home that can give her the structure and calm she needs to feel confident. A yard where she can run and play would make her happiest, and having another friendly dog to play with would be a big bonus!Wednesday’s ideal family will give her a “job” to do, plenty of activity, and lots of love and reassurance. In return, she’ll give you endless affection, hilarious ear expressions, and a loyal companion for life. Apply to meet Wednesday at http://caws.org/adoption-applicationAll CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Adoption fee: $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationNovember 7, 2025, 5:34 am

Story
Meet Tyson! Perhaps the only thing cuter than Tyson's smile is his one floppy ear. Tyson is a 6-year-old, 40-pound mixed breed guy who is incredibly friendly and quick to bond to his people. When he wants attention, Tyson will either lean his backside into you or wind around your legs like a cat - it's pretty impossible to resist giving scratches when they're requested like that! Tyson gets along well with dogs - he's eager to play with the more easygoing pups, but can be standoffish or even a little growly if a dog comes on too strong. He is house trained and while he doesn't love being in a crate (he'll whine initially), he eventually settles down. Tyson is a curious and playful guy around the house and outside, he loves to play in the backyard and go for walks around the neighborhood. Overall, Tyson is a loving and loyal pup who likes to spend as much time with his people as possible. If Tyson sounds like the guy for you, please complete an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationDecember 17, 2025, 7:39 am

Story
This beautiful and well mannered guy is just 7 months old and we got him as a playmate to our female pit bull. He's a great companion that needs lots of love and exercise. He loves to play, go for walks and give hugs and kisses. Unfortunately our female has decided to push him away and make him uncomfortable. We just barely got him from the original owner that was unable to keep up with him. He needs to be loved and taken care of.
