Hi, I’m Little Boy—a big-hearted pup with a growing love for life. When I was just 3 months old, I was passed from one home to another before Forte took me in. I didn’t even know what toys were back then, but the first time they gave me some, I played like I’d just discovered magic. I still love my toys, but now I’ve grown into a strong, playful young guy who’s ready for a forever home that can keep up with me. I’m about 8 months old now and already 50 pounds—so I’ll be a solid, medium-to-large companion. I have lots of energy and would thrive with someone who enjoys playtime, walks, and maybe even another dog to wrestle or cuddle with. I’m also super affectionate, and when I get one-on-one attention, I can be pretty calm and cuddly too. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, and loving buddy who’s past the tiny puppy stage but still full of youthful fun, come meet me. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! Rosco has already been through more than most dogs ever should, but you’d never know it from the joy in his smile. This resilient little Boston Terrier survived the heartbreaking loss of not one, but two owners who passed away. An independent rescuer in Bakersfield took him in, but with too many dogs already in her care, she reached out to our team so Rosco could finally find the forever home he truly deserves. We’re really hoping the third time’s a charm for this special guy. When he first arrived, we got him a much needed dental. The vet removed 5 of his teeth, but he took it like a champ! Rosco is 6 years old and weighs 16 pounds. He’s incredibly sweet, friendly, and loves attention and pets. He has wonderful manners, is very patient, and greets people with the cutest smile. Rosco also adores lap time, snuggles, and burrowing under the covers. He’s a great walker too! He loves to explore, and is doing great pottying outside. Rosco is also easy going, gentle and does well with other dogs and kids. He would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. Jax and Juno are two little cuties that came to us when a rescuer we work with had someone contact her who needed to surrender these puppies. She asked if we could help with taking them into our foundation and we said yes! Jax and Juno are approx 7 month old siblings that are friendly, playful, and so loving! They are a pug mix, possibly a Chug or a Puggle. Ideally, we would love to see them get adopted together as they do so well with each other, but we would also separate them into homes that have another sweet and playful dog. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day and a home with a safe and secure yard would be ideal for these playful pups. These little angels deserve the best forever home out there and we won't stop till we find it! Jax and Juno are vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age.
