Na-cho average Boston, but he sure is sweet, and we’re certain he’s better than the very best ball park treat—meet NACHO!! Our little 1-2 year old, 16lb Boston/Chi dream is in speedy need of a FOSTER or FUREVER family to love him, to give him tons of TLC, and to help him have a swift and seamless recovery. Sadly, Nacho came in to the shelter as a stray with a broken femur after being hit by a car. Nacho sadly had no public or rescue interest. Boston Buddies knew this mini man had the heart of a lion and a zest for life which he deserved to live in all its goodness! So as soon as we got the green light we swooped right in and broke him free! Nacho was taken to our vet where it was determined his fracture was not fixable and his leg would need amputation which was completed successfully over the weekend! Now Nacho is ready and waiting as patiently as can be and lucky lucky you if he gets to be a part of your family! We don’t know much about our lively young Boston/Chi but we do know he is resilent, brave, and sweet as can be and we are absolutely certain Nacho is beyond deserving of love, and pets, and to live his lovely life with his very own family!! BRAMBLE— Sweet as can be, our boy BRAMBLE is in need of a FOSTER or FUREVER family, and hopefully ASAP! Our bodacious 29lb boy was broken free from the SEACCA Shelter where he came in with a ruptured eye, some patchy fur on his backside, and was sadly put on red flag alert. Our volunteers responded swiftly and swooped our deserving dude right up! Although he was terrified, in pain, and completely confused, benevolent Bramble tried to give our volunteer sweet smooches the entire ride to the vet. Resilient and ready to get on with his good life ahead, Bramble has had his eye removed, was neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. The veterinary staff can’t get enough of our guy and have only goodness to report back to us—Bramble has been non reactive to the dogs in the back, has been an overall well mannered guest, a good listener, and seems to catch on quickly. A young boy, Bramble is anywhere from 3-5 years old with a zest for life, but calms down quickly..the very best of both worlds! We cannot wait to see how Bramble blossoms, learns, and gains confidence in his FOSTER or FUREVER family! Bramble is patiently waiting at the vet and cannot wait to be your foster or furever pet! According to his foster, Kiki is their “best foster Boston Terrier yet!” Kiki has “a heart of gold,” is as sweet as they come, and at 10 years young, he still knows how to have fun! Kiki thoroughly enjoys playing with his toys throughout the day and keeps a quick clip on his walks (his foster says he definitely doesn’t act his age)! A true social butterfly of a boy, Kiki makes fast friends with any human he comes across. He also does well with female dogs but would prefer to be the only male pup in your life. Kiki has caught on quickly to the great indoors and is a well-mannered man! He has taken to sleeping in bed—under the covers, on top of the covers, it doesn’t matter to Kiki, he just silently snoozes away all snuggled up. Kiki doesn’t care for his crate, but being the true gentleman that he is, there hasn’t been a need for it (phew)! He is an ideal lap sitter, a superb shadow, a quintessential crazy Boston when it comes to squirrels, a sweet smooch sharer, and an all-around treasure of a guy! Kiki did have a small mast cell tumor removed off of his back left leg with clean margins and is healing perfectly; you’ll just need to keep an eye out for any new growth down the road! Besides that, our little 20 lbs. hunk is happy, healthy, house trained and knows his basic commands. He’s hoping to steal your heart just in time to be your FUREVER Valentine! Dusty was tearful relinquished to Boston Buddies due to his owner battling mental health issues. Even though he has experienced some instability in his life, this 10-year-old, 16-pound, Boston Terrier is very calm, confident, and well adjusted. Dusty integrated with his foster brothers and sisters with no issues. He is dog friendly, nonreactive to the cats he met at the vet and loves every human he has come into contact with. Dusty has been fully vetted to include a dental and the removal of a fatty mass on his paw. This guy is the complete package! Great looks and an award-winning personality. Dusty rides great in the car and is making wonderful strides on his leash walking. He uses the doggie door to take care of his business. At night he loves to snuggle in bed right beside his foster Mom and canine foster siblings. His foster parents can’t say enough good things about this guy. If you need to leave to go to work or run errands, no worries, he is fine to be left alone. That just allows him some “me time” to sunbathe in the yard or lounge on a dog bed in the living room. He was an only dog but he now lives with multiple dogs so we feel he could easily adjust to any domestic situation.
