Meet Zeke – The Best Boy Ever, Ready for His Furever Home! Zeke is a 1½-year-old, 23 lb. Boston/Frenchie(?) mix with a heart as big as his smile! This brave little guy came to us after being rescued from an abuse situation that left him with a badly fractured leg. Thankfully, Zeke was confiscated from his abuser and received orthopedic surgery to repair the injury. Now fully healed and thriving, Zeke is ready to start the happy new chapter he so deserves. Okay, we’ll admit it — Zeke isn’t a purebred Boston Terrier. But when the shelter called asking for help, we didn’t hesitate for a second. We’ve even sent off his DNA test (because everyone’s dying to know!), and guesses so far include Boston, Frenchie, Dachshund, Chihuahua, GSD, and maybe a little Pug — that fabulous tail is a clue! Stay tuned for the big reveal. Zeke has been the perfect house guest in his foster home. He mastered the doggie door in no time, does his business like a gentleman, and tucks himself into his crate at bedtime without a fuss. On walks, he’s a total pro — though he might pull a little just to greet new friends. Zeke LOVES other dogs and is hoping for a home with a young, playful pup to match his energy. His favorite game is chase — both running after and being chased — and his zoomies are legendary! Picture an aerodynamic blur zipping across the grass (or the living room during TV time). When he’s not zooming, Zeke’s an affectionate snuggle bug who’ll happily curl up beside you — or on your shoulders — for belly rubs and cuddles. He’s also perfectly happy chewing on a bully stick while you get some work done. He’s learning commands, food-motivated, eager to please, and always ready for new adventures. Zeke is the kind of dog who can go anywhere and make friends everywhere. Zeke is healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered (check out his green tattoo!), and microchipped. Meet Gus – A Sweet Senior Looking for a Loving Home Formerly known as Shadow, Gus may look familiar — and that’s because he’s already touched hearts before! This charming 12-year-old Boston Terrier first came to Boston Buddies from the OC shelter about a year ago and was quickly adopted by a loving older couple. He enjoyed a happy life filled with love and companionship. Sadly, Gus’s world changed when his beloved dad passed away and his mom’s health no longer allowed her to care for him. Now, Gus is looking for a second chance at forever — a new family who has room in their heart for a gentle, older gentleman. Gus is the definition of easygoing. He loves lounging around the house and is perfectly content with a peaceful day followed by a leisurely evening walk. He’s great on a leash (unless a cheeky squirrel crosses his path!), sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, and is fully house-trained — he even uses a doggie door like a pro. Gus gets along well with other dogs and enjoys meeting new friends on his walks. He hasn’t met any cats, but he’s very interested in the birds and squirrels in his foster home's yard — so a home without small, fast-moving critters might be best! He’s a big fan of mealtime — especially important now that he's on a special hepatic diet to support his liver health. He also has a bit of seasonal itchiness that’s easily managed with a Cytopoint shot every few months. Reddy is an 8-year-old Boston terrier. For years he was my brother's companion. However, my brother became ill and could no longer keep him or care for him, as he is in a Nursing home. I love the Doggie and planned to keep him, but my employer made me go back to the office and I work 10 hr shifts. He is not used to being alone for so long. He is very friendly and looooves to play fetch with his chicken or any other chewing toy. He loves to go for walks and lay back with his family and take a nap under his blanket.

Lulu is a special girl because she is deaf. You would never know that she is deaf, except when her back is turned to you. Lulu pays attention to you, so she’s pretty good at reading your cues. Lulu loves toys! She is toy obsessed. She will grab and toy and run around playing with it, then destroy it, then go find another. She needs the tough chewer toys. Lulu loves people and wants to snuggle as much as you will let her. She is great with other dogs, she loves play wrestling. Lulu is fine with kids. Lulu loves water. if she sees you with the hose, she gets so excited. Lulu has such a fun and playful personality. She’s a clown! Lulu just wants to be someone’s princess!
