📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story: Meet Moana👋🏻 She was found wandering the streets of Paju, South Korea in 2022. She ended up at a high-kill shelter but was thankfully rescued just in time. Since then, she’s been living in a private shelter with many other dogs, charming everyone with her affectionate personality. Now, she’s ready to find a forever family of her own! • Personality: Affectionate, Friendly, Goofy Moana is truly one of a kind. She quickly won the hearts of volunteers with her gentle, loving nature. She follows people around like a little shadow, happily greeting everyone—even strangers—with tail wags and affection. Moana thrives on human interaction and loves tug-of-war, belly rubs, and being the center of attention. Her energy level is moderate, making her a great balance of playful and calm. • Affinity with - Dogs: Moana is incredibly social—not just with people, but with dogs, too. She’s often the first to welcome new arrivals at the shelter, helping them feel safe and at ease. While she would thrive as the only dog in the home, Moana also does best with calm dog companions. - Cats: Not tested with cats - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids, but based on her gentle demeanor, we believe she’d do well with respectful children. • Walking Manners: Moana has also started practicing her leash skills and is doing great! She may pull a little at times, but overall, she walks well and is eager to please. • Housetrained: As she’s lived in a shelter, Moana will need some house-training in a home setting. • Bathing/Brushing: She’s tolerant of baths and grooming. • Car Sickness: She’s curious and alert during car rides, taking in the world around her. • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Very quiet • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 5 • Likes/Dislikes: She loves affection & treats! • Health: Moana finished her heartworm treatment in Oct 2024 and is in great health. She underwent successful surgery for an inguinal hernia in Mar 2025 and has fully recovered. She has a clean bill of health and is ready for her new adventure! (Her two front bottom teeth are missing) 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee. Your support directly helps us continue rescuing and caring for dogs in need, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Story
Meatball is a sweet and snuggly American Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix who loves nothing more than cuddles and belly rubs. He enjoys a good game of fetch and isn't reactive. However, due to his strength and clumsy nature, he’d do best in a home with dogs his size and/or older kids. Meatball is fully house-trained and would thrive with someone familiar with his breed. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion with lots of affection to give, Meatball is your guy! 🐾❤️

Story
Meet Otis – Our Valley Fever Survivor Who’s Ready for His Next Chapter Otis is an 8-year-old, 23 lb Boston Terrier who has already fought — and won — the biggest battle of his life. When he came to us, he was suffering from a severe case of Valley Fever that caused extreme pain, fever, and regurgitation. Thanks to incredible veterinary care and his own determination, Otis pulled through and is now stable, comfortable, and enjoying life again. Otis is still on long-term antifungal medication, and Boston Buddies will cover all Valley Fever–related medications and follow-up testing for as long as needed. As Otis has started feeling better and stronger, some challenges have developed in his current home. He is doing well with female dogs but has shown he prefers not to live with other male dogs. For everyone’s safety and happiness, we are now searching for a foster or forever home where Otis can be the only dog or live with a small female companion. Otis Highlights: • Ball is life — he loves fetch and will happily entertain himself • Professional blanket rearranger and dog bed interior designer • Crate trained and comfortable with cozy bedding • Master hole digger and ball burier • Has perfected the art of dramatic pouting • Takes his meds like a champ… as long as there’s liverwurst involved Otis is still polishing his house training skills and may need patience and structure in a new home. He thrives with clear rules and confident leadership — if there’s a power vacuum, Otis is ready to step in as King of the Castle. Otis can be a little independent and sometimes aloof, likely from a past life where he may not have been treated as a family member. But he is learning what love and safety mean, and he is showing more connection every day. What Otis really wants is simple: A calm home. A sunny spot to nap. Unlimited ball time. A family who sees how special he is. If you can give this brave little survivor the life he deserves, please apply: Adopt: https://www.bostonbuddies.org/adoption-application/ Foster: https://www.bostonbuddies.org/foster-application/ Located in Southern California Adoption Fee: $350 Otis has fought so hard to be here. Now he just needs someone to choose him.   View more photos on our facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/BostonBuddiesInc March 14, 2026, 12:01 am

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Klein💚 💙 Klein’s News Account: @klein__55 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup along with her four siblings when they were very young. She stayed at the Jeongeup shelter for about a year. However, when she and her siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, Adogs stepped in and saved them, including Klein. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be quite shy. So when she first arrived at her foster home, she was wary and scared of her foster parents. Now, she feels more comfortable at home and does not avoid them when they approach and sit by her. Wags her tail, whines in affection, and approaches! Seems to rely more on her foster mom in new environments. When there are strangers around, she’ll approach the women first to sniff them, but avoids men and runs away. If a stranger gives her a treat, she’ll take it and run away to eat it in her own space. Met young children at a dog-friendly cafe, but didn’t show interest in them. * With Dogs: Feels more comfortable around dogs than people. Approaches other dogs wagging her tail, but only sniffs them gently and politely — is a very mannered and gentle dog. Becomes more social and greets familiar dogs more actively. * With Cats: Tends to chase cats she encounters on walks and suddenly pulls on the leash. Caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: While she sometimes plays quietly and sleeps well, there are other times when she barks, howls, chews on electrical cords, or destroys things. Still tries to open all the doors and even chews on her crate. Since it's hard to tell what triggers her separation anxiety to be better or worse on any given days, we are constantly trying different methods to find a solution. * Potty Training: Indoor potty training is still in progress, with about a 70% success rate on pads. Prefers to relieve herself outdoors and always poops outside. * Hygiene: Doesn't enjoy baths or brushing, but tolerates them well. Is still a bit scared of the dryer and tends to run away to avoid it. For nail trimming, one more person is needed to hold her while another trims her nails. Her guardian is currently introducing her to tooth brushing gently with a soft gauze and rubber toothbrush. * Walks: Pulls hard on the leash when she sees cats. Has gained confidence and has become stubborn on walks, so she’s being retrained. * Car Sickness: Doesn’t get car sick but is scared of bright lights like neon signs at night, preferring to be held by a person for comfort. * Never shows possessive, defensive, or aggressive biting behavior. * Occasionally whines briefly when her guardian comes home or comes back into a room. * Loves sleeping, treats, and going for walks. Enjoys lying on the grass and relaxing during walks outside. Likes biting hard objects like charger cables, plastic hangers, pencils, shoes, etc. Enjoys lying on the couch when her foster parents are not around. Likes being warm, so she enjoys wearing clothes. Even sleeps much more comfortably when wearing clothes! * Is scared when strangers approach or when she hears loud noises. Is frightened by neon signs and bright lights when riding in a car at night. Dislikes sitting on cold floors. Is afraid to go into a small and dark space, so she's reluctant to go into kennel or doggy house.

Will approach you first for cuddles and enjoys being touched. * With Dogs: Feels uncomfortable around other dogs because of a past trauma where he was bitten by a Jindo.
