Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

To apply for Freckles please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption Fee $250 Meet Freckles 10-year-old Boston Terrier Freckles is a confident, playful little Boston with a wonderful off-switch. She enjoys daily walks and interactive time, but she’s equally happy relaxing nearby once her needs are met. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with other pets and does best with structure, routine, and clear boundaries. What Freckles is like: • Confident, playful, and affectionate once she feels safe • Walks well on leash and enjoys daily outings • Good with cats • Does best with small, neutered male dogs • Can be reactive to larger dogs and female dogs • Prefers a calm environment and respectful handling • Does not like being picked up • Bonds closely with her person and enjoys companionship Ideal home: Freckles would do best in a calm home with adults or older teens who understand dog behavior and will respect her boundaries. She can live happily in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets daily walks and a consistent routine. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a small, neutered male dog. No large dogs or female dogs, please. The important details: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines • Currently working on basic obedience • Fostered in a home with other pets Freckles is sensitive and may need slow introductions to new people and environments, but once she feels safe, she is deeply affectionate and loyal. She’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who values routine, positive reinforcement, and mutual trust. If you’re looking for a mature companion with personality, presence, and a whole lot of love to give — Freckles may be your perfect match.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Brewer! Brewer is a 2-year-old, 30 lb French Bulldog mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter after his owner could no longer care for him. This charming guy is full of personality and sure to keep you smiling! Brewer is sweet, spunky, goofy, and packed with character. He does well with other dogs, but he definitely prefers more laid-back, lower-energy companions. High-energy dogs aren’t really his style, and he can be a bit bossy at times, so he’ll do best either as an only dog with continued socialization or in a home with a calm, easygoing canine buddy. Brewer is treat-motivated, walks well on leash, and is overall a well-adjusted, easygoing guy. He enjoys getting out for walks and spending time with his people, but he’s not over-the-top demanding—just a good balance of fun and chill. If you’re looking for a goofy, lovable companion with a big personality and a preference for the simpler, more relaxed side of life, Brewer might just be your perfect match! Brewer is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Murdoch! Murdoch is a 1-year-old, 15 lb Pug/Chihuahua mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This little guy is packed with personality and ready to bring nonstop joy to his future home! Murdoch is sweet, spunky, goofy, and full of silly charm. He’s truly Mr. Personality—a happy, social pup who loves meeting new people and making dog friends wherever he goes. His playful, bouncy energy makes him an absolute blast to be around. He does great with other dogs and would love to have a confident, playful canine companion in the home to match his energy and keep the fun going. Murdoch thrives on interaction and would do best in a home that enjoys taking their dog out and about—whether it’s walks, outings, or just being part of everyday adventures. With his goofy puppy energy and love for life, Murdoch is happiest when he’s included, socializing, and exploring the world with his people. He has not been tested with cats. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, outgoing, and entertaining companion who will keep you smiling and always ready for the next adventure, Murdoch is your guy! Murdock is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hardy! Hardy is a 6-year-old, 18 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter, and he is every bit the classic, lovable pug you could hope for! Sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming, Hardy has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body. He loves being carried, soaking up attention from his people, and showing off his silly side. He’s bouncy, playful, and always ready to make you laugh ~ truly your typical happy, goofy pug! Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He enjoys going on walks and little adventures and would love adopters who include him in their daily activities. Because Hardy is a flat-faced breed, he will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand his specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. Hardy is ready to bring laughs, cuddles, and plenty of pug charm to the right home ~ all he’s missing is his forever family! Hardy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
