WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎩🐾 Meet Boss — Small Body, Big Personality, Zero Actual Authority 🐾🎩 Male • 2 Years Old • 15 lbs • Boston Terrier Don’t let the name fool you — Boss may sound like he runs the place, but really he’s just here to have a great time, make friends, and steal a few toys along the way. At 2 years old and 15 pounds, this Boston Terrier is the perfect mix of fun-sized and full-powered. He’s social, happy, and always ready to jump into whatever is happening — whether that’s playtime, walk time, or “let’s see what’s in that toy basket” time. Boss is great with people and other dogs, and he brings a playful energy that makes him an awesome companion. Now, fair warning… his play style is a little on the enthusiastic side. Think less “tea party” and more “WRESTLEMANIA,” so he’d do best with another dog who can match his vibe and enjoy a good romp. Toys? Oh yes. Big fan. Photo shoots? Nailed it. (Total natural, honestly.) Attention? Accepts all forms. Despite his playful, bouncy personality, Boss also has a sweet, friendly nature that makes him easy to love. He’s the kind of dog who greets life with a wagging tail and a “what are we doing next?!” attitude. And don’t let his size fool you — this little guy is ready for adventure. He’d happily join you for: • Neighborhood strolls • Errand runs (shotgun seat is his) • Mild hikes • Camping trips • Backyard play sessions Cats are currently unknown, but one thing we do know is Boss is all about fun, friends, and being part of the action. Boss is the kind of dog who will bring laughter, energy, and a whole lot of personality into your life. He may not actually be in charge… but he will absolutely be in charge of your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Boss bring the fun, the zoomies, and the good vibes home. 🐾💙

Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Story
Mitzi is currently waiting in Oklahoma for a family that views pets as true family members. We specialize in matching our dogs with wonderful homes across the country via our dedicated transport network. Logistics: To bring Mitzi home, adopters simply meet our transport vehicle at a designated city stop. We stand by our dogs for life; if for any reason the adoption doesn't work out, Mitzi stays under our protection and returns to Oklahoma on our next scheduled trip. Looking for a versatile companion who is equally happy at a crowded festival as she is snuggled on your sofa? Mitzi is your girl! Mitzi just celebrated is around 14 months old on March 25th, and she is the perfect medium size at 30 pounds. We even did the guesswork for you—her DNA results are in! She is a fascinating "All-American" blend: 61% Boston Terrier, with splashes of American Pit Bull Terrier, Chow Chow, Australian Cattle Dog, and 7 other breeds. Why Mitzi is a Standout: The Ultimate Socialite: Mitzi is a public-relations pro. She has handled busy downtown walks, patio dining at restaurants, and even our local Halloween "Trunk or Treat" with over 750 kids! She is exceptionally friendly with both humans and other dogs. Adventure Ready: She is a dream in the car and walks beautifully on a leash. She likes to lead the way and explore, but she’s a polite walker who doesn’t pull. The "Best of Both Worlds" Energy: While she is energetic and full of life when it's time to play, she is a dedicated professional couch potato once she’s indoors. Uniquely Adorable: Mitzi sports the cutest little underbite you've ever seen. She’s also missing one toe on her right foot, but don't tell her that—it doesn't slow her down or bother her in the slightest! Great Foundation: She is already crate trained and is making steady progress on her housebreaking (currently about 50/50 and ready for a consistent routine). Mitzi was fostered for a week; here are more pictures and information on her! https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16VBYyZaNj/ Video of Mitzi from February 7th: https://youtube.com/shorts/nYLNJb33sRc?feature=share Health & Adoption Details Vetting: Spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Courtesy Post. To apply for Freckles please visit Northwest Rescue Collective, www.northwestrescuecollective.com Adoption Fee $250 Meet Freckles 10-year-old Boston Terrier Freckles is a confident, playful little Boston with a wonderful off-switch. She enjoys daily walks and interactive time, but she’s equally happy relaxing nearby once her needs are met. She’s currently thriving in a foster home with other pets and does best with structure, routine, and clear boundaries. What Freckles is like: • Confident, playful, and affectionate once she feels safe • Walks well on leash and enjoys daily outings • Good with cats • Does best with small, neutered male dogs • Can be reactive to larger dogs and female dogs • Prefers a calm environment and respectful handling • Does not like being picked up • Bonds closely with her person and enjoys companionship Ideal home: Freckles would do best in a calm home with adults or older teens who understand dog behavior and will respect her boundaries. She can live happily in an apartment or a house, as long as she gets daily walks and a consistent routine. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a small, neutered male dog. No large dogs or female dogs, please. The important details: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines • Currently working on basic obedience • Fostered in a home with other pets Freckles is sensitive and may need slow introductions to new people and environments, but once she feels safe, she is deeply affectionate and loyal. She’s looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who values routine, positive reinforcement, and mutual trust. If you’re looking for a mature companion with personality, presence, and a whole lot of love to give — Freckles may be your perfect match.

Story
Alaska is a little girl who came running to the shelter to hide, we assume she was scared after being run over. At first glance we saw that she had a fracture in her hind leg, her first visit to the vet was to prepare her for an amputation, since her leg was beyond repair. After her recovery, she began to prepare to find her new home, currently she already has her vaccinations up to date, she is spayed and ready. She is a very pampered dog, like a big girl, waiting for love, affection and lots of cuddles, she likes to go for walks, eager to see new places, always happy, following you everywhere. She is very curious, elated to see you, and such an adorable, smart little girl. The fact that she is missing her leg does not stop her, she runs, plays and can even jump, she has adapted quite well to her new life. She is still a puppy, she will barely be a year old, she will not grow any more, she is medium, around 28 pounds. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.

Story
Meet Minnie, a 2-year-old Pug mix weighing 27 pounds with the cutest little underbite and a beautiful white chest and collar that gives her a “queenly” look. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and fully believes she’s here to love you… and collect a few treats along the way. Minnie is a happy, playful girl with a medium to high energy level. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and enjoys toys, especially antlers and squeaky toys. She’ll chase a ball here and there, but she’d much rather engage with her people or other dogs than nap the day away. She’s very alert and will pop up quickly if she hears something new, making her both entertaining and a great little watchdog. She is house trained, though she has had a few recent accidents that may be related to medication she’s currently on while recovering from heartworm treatment. Minnie is crate trained with a little encouragement, especially if a treat is involved, and she settles in nicely once inside. When left alone, she does well resting in her crate for 4 to 8 hours. Minnie is great with tweens and teens and would do well in a home with or without kids. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those in the 30 to 60 pound range, and enjoys having playmates. Cats and other animals are unknown at this time. She’s a smart girl who already knows sit and shake and is currently working on “come here,” “lay down,” and “get in your box.” On leash, Minnie is still learning and can be a bit of a zig-zagger who pulls, but with consistency and a little patience, she’ll continue to improve. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Car rides can make Minnie a little nervous, though she has already started improving. For longer trips, she may benefit from some calming support, but she’s making great progress and gaining confidence. Minnie’s ideal home is simply one that will love her. She’s affectionate, playful, and full of personality. When you look into her eyes, she seems to say, “I’m a cutie patootie, here to give you love and kisses,” and she truly means it. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Minnie may be your perfect match. You can apply directly for Minnie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-799 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

For more pics and vids follow us on: YouTube @thehausofdogs TikTok @thehausofdogsofficial Facebook or Instagram @thehausofdogs Lollipop’s 🍭 story started with an “oops” litter—her parents, a French Bulldog and a Chihuahua, had an accidental pairing that resulted in Lollipop and her siblings. When their owners couldn’t keep the litter, they were surrendered to a shelter. Now, Lollipop is ready for her fresh start with a family who’s ready to love her for life. At just 4 months old, Lollipop is already an absolute dream of a puppy. She sleeps through the night, keeps her crate clean, and settles beautifully without whining or crying for attention. She’s not your typical chaotic, high-maintenance puppy—in fact, she’s been incredibly easygoing and low maintenance for her age. Lollipop is the definition of affectionate. She loves to snuggle, often burying her face right into your chest and melting into you. It’s her favorite place to be. She greets both humans and other dogs with happy tail wags, bringing a soft, gentle energy wherever she goes. Based on her parents’ size, we expect Lollipop to be around 20 pounds fully grown—the perfect size for just about any lifestyle. If you’re looking for a puppy who skips the chaos and leans more into calm companionship, cuddles, and sweetness, Lollipop might just be your perfect match.
