FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Tammy! Tammy is a 5-year-old, 49 lb Boston Terrier/Bulldog mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. Since settling into foster care, this sweet girl has truly blossomed and shown everyone what a loyal, loving companion she is. Tammy is house-trained and has formed an deep bond with her foster family. She loves being close to her people, happily following them from room to room. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your constant sidekick, Tammy is your girl. Whether it’s running errands, going on walks, or joining you for everyday outings, she’s happiest simply being by your side. She enjoys getting out to explore and would love an active home that includes her in daily adventures. Tammy also loves having a yard where she can run, play, and stretch her legs, so she’s looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard where she can enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Tammy has done well with other dogs and could happily live with a compatible canine companion. That said, she also wouldn’t mind being someone’s one-and-only so she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will adore spending every moment with you, Tammy is ready to fill that role. She’s a wonderful companion with so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family to call her own! Tammy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain… Ian might just be your perfect match. This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. Snuggles Included: Once the zoomies are out, Ian is all about couch time. He’ll curl up beside you, toy in tow, and drift off while you watch TV. The perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Communication Style (aka his signature move): Ian has the best voice—a raspy, screechy, baby pterodactyl sound that he proudly uses to let you know when he’s ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. It’s hilarious, endearing, and very effective. He’ll also quietly go sit by the door, so keep an eye out—he’s a good boy who just needs you to notice his polite signals. Mealtime & Care: Ian is an enthusiastic foodie, so he uses a slow feeder bowl to keep mealtime safe and comfortable. Medical Transparency: Due to his past injury, Ian has diabetes insipidus. The good news: • No injections required • Managed with oral medication twice daily • Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well-managed, and he’s living a happy, active, zoomie-filled life. The Perfect Home for Ian: • An active home that enjoys play, laughter, and a little chaos • A consistent adopter who can manage his simple medical routine • A respectful dog companion—or he’d love being your one and only • Someone who appreciates a quirky, lovable personality Ian isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’ll make you laugh daily, keep life interesting, and then curl up next to you like he’s always belonged there. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi, I’m Polo! My brother Marco and I are best friends and cannot be separated. We are both happy and playful, but Marco is a little more outgoing than I am. I’m a little more reserved and shy. I still love activities like walks, car rides, and playing in the yard. Marco and I are really good boys - housetrained, not mischievous, and can be left alone at home for short periods. We do need a little more practice leash walking. We also need a fenced yard so we can play off-leash together. Since we’re happy with just each other, we don’t want to live with other dogs, cats, or kids under 10. We’re all you need, we promise! If you're interested in adopting us, first fill out an adoption application, and then if you look good the rescue requires a home visit and an excellent vet reference. CLBTRF matches families with dogs based on what the particular dog(s) need and how the family can accommodate those needs. Polo and I need an active family to provide enrichment of walks, hikes and activities in the yard. But most of all, we have to be adopted as a pair. Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Yes Leash-trained? Yes, but there’s room for improvement Rides well in a car? Yes Good with other dogs? No, just my brother Marco Good with cats? No Good with young children? Yes, okay with respectful children 10 and older. Good with strangers? Yes Shy or confident? A little more shy than Marco, but still friendly! Apartment Friendly? No. Fenced yard required. Story
Hi! I’m Rosie! I’m 9 years old and weigh 21lbs. Everyone who meets me says I’m a total sweetheart, and I’ll make you smile all day long! I get along great with other dogs, and am highly social - as long as the dogs are well socialized, we will get along great! Cats and kids, though, are not for me. I’ve never been around either and they make me nervous, so I want to chase them down! Not a good situation for any of us! But I really, really love people. I love to snuggle on the couch or in bed just as much as I love taking walks. I currently walk two times a day with my foster family for 1-1.5 miles each time. I would LOVE to be your walking buddy. I’m also a super smart girl, which can get me in a little trouble! I can open my crate by myself, and now my mom has to use an extra latch to keep me safe in there. I can open doors and gates, so I’m what the rescue calls a “high flight risk,” I just love mischief! But it could be unsafe for me to get out, so it’s important that I be kept safe and secure and that my family is very mindful of this. I’m house trained and mostly crate trained. Like I said, I can get out of my crate, but I can also be trusted to be left out in the house for short periods of time. I’d do best with someone who works from home so I can be near them all day. Plus then we can take walks when they need a break! Here's a little more about me: Housetrained? Yes Leash-trained? Yes Rides well in a car? Yes Good with other dogs? Yes Good with cats? No Good with young children? No Good with strangers? Yes Shy or confident? Confident Apartment Friendly? No, I like to have time outside in my yard in addition to my walks. Story
Meet Camo Hi, my name is Camo although maybe I should have been named Yoda. I kind of resemble that guy from Star Wars. I’m a sweet and calm labrador retriever possibly Boston terrier bulldog mix. I am estimated to be two years old who weighs just 37 pounds. If you are looking for a nice medium sized pup I am your guy. I’m a total cuddle bug who also loves to do anything my people are doing. I do great with other dogs and would happily welcome some furry friends in my new home. I came into rescue after being found wandering a rural neighborhood. Kind people looked for my family, but no one came forward—so now I’m ready to find my forever one! I love to go for walks and explore new places. I’m friendly with everyone I meet. I have a decent amount of energy when I’m outside but I know how to calm down and relax when indoors. I would thrive with an active, loving family—and I’d do great in a home with children. I’m social, affectionate, and ready to give all the love I have to my people. I’m house trained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and healthy. If you think I could be the perfect fit for your family, please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application instructions.

Story
Animal Information: Percy is a 3-year-old, 11-pound pug/Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a confiscation case in Southern California. Shelter life was a little overwhelming for him at first, but with patience and kindness, Percy quickly began to show his true personality. Once he felt safe, he charmed the staff with his gentle nature, happy tail wags, and adorable little underbite. He also did wonderfully with his kennel mates, showing himself to be a friendly and easygoing companion. Thanks to a foster stepping up, Percy has been enjoying a cozy temporary home while waiting for his freedom ride to Seattle. Now he’s ready for the next chapter of his life  Foster Profile:  Percy is a very sweet and mellow pup. He’s shy with new people but will accept treats. He absolutely loves to sit with you and his default move is to roll on his back for belly rubs. Warning: you may have to extract him when it’s time to tackle your todo list.    He’s quite comfortable in his crate, day or night. Loves to take walks and has played well with another dog. He is continuing to learn family routine and rules. He has really great eye contact at home and on walks and is working to understand sit and other basic commands.   A mellow temperament like his would be well suited to a variety of families with or without other dogs.   He’s a super affectionate dog that prioritizes his humans and would be a good match if an “easy” dog is what you need to keep calm and carry on.   More to come as we continue to get to know him in foster care.    Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Animal Shelter in Modesto, CA. He will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 06/11/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 4, 2026, 10:34 pm

Story
Animal Information: Layla (and her sibling Leela) are an adorable pair of "short stacks" who were found as strays and rescued from the municipal SBC shelter after being at risk due to their length of stay. Now they're ready to find the loving home they deserve! Layla is sweet, social and friendly with people and learning to play with other dogs. She's the more reserved follower of the two, but with a little encouragement, she quickly warms up and charms everyone she meets. Their goofy personalities, adorable pouty lips, and curly-Q tails make them impossible not to smile around. Layla has picked up crate training, house training and learning basic obedience in the short time we've had her. We look forward to watching her blossom in foster care.  Foster Profile: Coming Soon!
