Story
Animal Information: Percy is a 3-year-old, 11-pound pug/Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a confiscation case in Southern California. Shelter life was a little overwhelming for him at first, but with patience and kindness, Percy quickly began to show his true personality. Once he felt safe, he charmed the staff with his gentle nature, happy tail wags, and adorable little underbite. He also did wonderfully with his kennel mates, showing himself to be a friendly and easygoing companion. Thanks to a foster stepping up, Percy has been enjoying a cozy temporary home while waiting for his freedom ride to Seattle. Now he’s ready for the next chapter of his life  Foster Profile:  Percy is a very sweet and mellow pup. He’s shy with new people but will accept treats. He absolutely loves to sit with you and his default move is to roll on his back for belly rubs. Warning: you may have to extract him when it’s time to tackle your todo list.    He’s quite comfortable in his crate, day or night. Loves to take walks and has played well with another dog. He is continuing to learn family routine and rules. He has really great eye contact at home and on walks and is working to understand sit and other basic commands.   A mellow temperament like his would be well suited to a variety of families with or without other dogs.   He’s a super affectionate dog that prioritizes his humans and would be a good match if an “easy” dog is what you need to keep calm and carry on.   More to come as we continue to get to know him in foster care.    Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Animal Shelter in Modesto, CA. He will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 06/11/26 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. July 2, 2026, 9:09 am

Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
At 6 years old, Adelle knows exactly what she likes. Soft beds. Snacks. Cuddles. Being close to her person. Affection on demand. And if youre sitting down? She firmly believes theres a very good chance she should be sitting with you. What Adelle doesnt particularly care for is sharing. Recently surrendered when her owner could no longer keep her, Adelle is a pug with confidence, character, and a few very strong opinions. She can coexist with other dogs, but if she had her way, shed be your one and only. Adelle can be protective of her favorite people and her food, and she isnt shy about making her feelings known. But beneath that confident exterior is a girl who loves deeply. Once Adelle decides youre her person, shes all inhappy to spend her days by your side, supervising your every move and making sure youre never short on companionship. Adelle has now completed her initial veterinary exam and is officially available for adoption. Her vaccines are up to date, shes started her weight-loss journey, and shell be arriving in the Seattle area from Eastern Washington on June 25. Once here, shell receive a much-needed dental as part of her continued care. Shes crate trained, loves to snuggle, and currently carries a few extra poundsso for now, you may hear her before you see her. Between the loud breathing, legendary snores, and classic pug sounds, Adelle always makes her presence known. As if she werent memorable enough already, Adelle is also a proud member of the Winky Pug Club. One of her eyes is malformed, giving her a permanent little wink that makes her impossible not to love. Adelle is looking for someone who appreciates a pug with personality, loyalty, and just the right amount of sass. She may not want to share her personbut shell happily give that person her whole heart. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Marshals story is one we wont soon forget. When this sweet 3-year-old boy first came into rescue, the condition he was in was heartbreaking. He was absolutely covered in fleasso severely that during his first bath, the water turned black. Getting him to safety felt like a monumental win, and for many of us, it was an emotional moment that brought tears to our eyes. And yet, through everything he had endured, Marshal showed us nothing but gentleness. Despite arriving with a serious eye injury that ultimately required removal of one eye, Marshal has never let his past define him. He adjusted beautifully and moves through life with quiet confidence, grace, and resilience. Marshal is calm, affectionate, and incredibly easy to love. He has a soft, steady presence that makes people feel instantly at ease. He enjoys being near his people, loves a cozy nap, andin one of his most endearing quirksactually enjoys spending time in his crate, treating it as his own safe little sanctuary. Marshal is the kind of dog who reminds you how remarkable resilience can be. His journey may have started with hardship, but his future deserves nothing less than comfort, love, and the forever home hes waited for. Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Tammy! Tammy is a 5-year-old, 49 lb Boston Terrier/Bulldog mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. Since settling into foster care, this sweet girl has truly blossomed and shown everyone what a loyal, loving companion she is. Tammy is house-trained and has formed an deep bond with her foster family. She loves being close to her people, happily following them from room to room. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your constant sidekick, Tammy is your girl. Whether it’s running errands, going on walks, or joining you for everyday outings, she’s happiest simply being by your side. She enjoys getting out to explore and would love an active home that includes her in daily adventures. Tammy also loves having a yard where she can run, play, and stretch her legs, so she’s looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard where she can enjoy plenty of outdoor time. Tammy has done well with other dogs and could happily live with a compatible canine companion. That said, she also wouldn’t mind being someone’s one-and-only so she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who will adore spending every moment with you, Tammy is ready to fill that role. She’s a wonderful companion with so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family to call her own! Tammy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $450.

Story
Say hello to Archie! Archie is a 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us an owner surrender as his owner was not able to care for him. Prior to coming to us, he lived much of his life in a crate where he was not well socialized or cared for. Archie has made huge strides since going into his foster home and we have found that he forms a deep and loving bond with his person, and we think he would do best in a home with one owner. He is looking for a confident, experienced owner who will spend time to help him reach his full potential. Archie is happy with other dogs, and would do fine with other dogs in the home but is best suited to a home without children and without a lot of foot traffic. He does well in a crate, and he is also house broken. Archie has quite the personality and loves to go for a ride in the car. In addition to car rides, he absolutely loves his toys and will entertain himself for hours on end. Archie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bean! Bean is a 3-year-old, 60 lb Staffy/Bulldog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy is the total package ~ sweet, social, and full of love to give! Bean is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch with his people. He’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and truly thrives on being part of the family. He’s a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and getting out and about ~ he just wants to be included in the action! He does great with other dogs and will need another dog in the home as a playmate and companion. Bean loves to play and can be a bit rough and rowdy, so he’ll do best with a dog who can match his play style and energy. Bean is a strong boy and is still working on his leash manners, so he’ll need a confident handler who can manage his strength and continue his training. He’s very eager to engage and loves being out in the world, so continued socialization and structure will be important for him. Because of his needs, Bean is looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and burn off energy. He would do best with a home where someone is around often or can take him along on outings, as he doesn’t love being left alone for long periods ~ he truly just wants to be with his people and his dog buddy. As a bonus, Bean even loves bath time and happily soaks up the attention (including towel dries!). He’s a happy, loyal, loving dog who will make an incredible companion for someone ready to include him in their daily life. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and social dog who will be your shadow and your snuggle buddy, Bean is your guy! Bean is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
