Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Meet Pierre! Pierre is a 9-year-old sweetheart who joined Evergreen Pug Rescue after his family faced the difficult decision to surrender him when they had to move and couldn't take him along. It was a heartbreaking choice, and we're honored they've trusted us to help him find the loving home he deserves for his golden years. We're still getting to know Pierre, but he has already made a wonderful impression. He loves to snuggle and is perfectly content sleeping in his crate, although we suspect he'd much rather have a soft bed nearby. He has incredibly soft fur, is very food motivated, and enjoys running, playing, and chasing the other dogs. Despite being a senior, he keeps right up with the rest of the pack. Pierre is also working on his potty training and making good progress. He's already been neutered and has received his vaccines, heartworm test, and a full veterinary exam, so he'll be ready to start his next chapter soon. We can't wait to see this sweet boy find a home where he can enjoy all the comforts of retirement, surrounded by love and companionship. Pierre is being fostered in Washington State. Welcome Nutz to CCPAL Rescue. Nutz is a 3-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He is a quieter dog and likes to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that is more quiet and wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood stil and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. Story

Some dogs quietly blend into the background. Koi is not one of those dogs. She arrives with commentary, enthusiasm, and the confidence of a pug who believes the world was created for her enjoyment. She's happiest when she's close to her people, preferably in their bed, and she likes to make sure everyone knows she's in charge. If there's another dog around, she'll happily volunteer for the position of top dog. Koi is wonderfully food motivated, which has been a huge help as she continues her health journey. The exciting news is that she's already slimming down and making great progress. Her future family will need to keep cheering her on as she works toward a healthier weight. She's affectionate in every sense of the wordsometimes a little too affectionateand her foster family will tell you she's proof that female pugs can be just as silly as the boys. Add in her extra chatty personality, and life with Koi is never boring. Koi still has some medical care ahead of her, including a future dental procedure and possible evaluation for soft palate surgery once she reaches a healthier weight. Because of that, she is looking for a home in the greater Seattle area with a family able to travel to our primary veterinary clinic in Bellevue for follow-up appointments. Her adoption will include medical addendums related to her future care, and we'll make sure her family understands every step of the plan before an adoption is finalized. Koi has clearly been loved her whole life, and now she's looking for the kind of family that will embrace her big personality, keep her on track, and appreciate that sometimes the best dogs are the ones with a little extra to say. Say hello to Archie! Archie is a 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us an owner surrender as his owner was not able to care for him. Prior to coming to us, he lived much of his life in a crate where he was not well socialized or cared for. Archie has made huge strides since going into his foster home and we have found that he forms a deep and loving bond with his person, and we think he would do best in a home with one owner. He is looking for a confident, experienced owner who will spend time to help him reach his full potential. Archie is happy with other dogs, and would do fine with other dogs in the home but is best suited to a home without children and without a lot of foot traffic. He does well in a crate, and he is also house broken. Archie has quite the personality and loves to go for a ride in the car. In addition to car rides, he absolutely loves his toys and will entertain himself for hours on end. Archie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bean! Bean is a 3-year-old, 60 lb Staffy/Bulldog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy is the total package ~ sweet, social, and full of love to give! Bean is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch with his people. He’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and truly thrives on being part of the family. He’s a social butterfly who loves meeting new people and getting out and about ~ he just wants to be included in the action! He does great with other dogs and will need another dog in the home as a playmate and companion. Bean loves to play and can be a bit rough and rowdy, so he’ll do best with a dog who can match his play style and energy. Bean is a strong boy and is still working on his leash manners, so he’ll need a confident handler who can manage his strength and continue his training. He’s very eager to engage and loves being out in the world, so continued socialization and structure will be important for him. Because of his needs, Bean is looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and burn off energy.
