Story
Meet Spencer! An adorable, 9-month-old Pug/Chihuahua mix that came to us from CA to find his forever home. Spencer is a super sweet puppy who is the life of the party and loves to play with toys. He walks great on a leash and knows some basic commands. He is housetrained and crate trained. He loves to run and play and would enjoy an active family who will take him on daily walks and adventures. He loves other dogs and we are looking for a home with another playful dog. He is currently in a foster home with children (ages 5 and 7) and does well with them. He’s very much a lap dog and will curl up with his people as soon as they sit down. Spencer is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lorilei! She is a cute, 1 year old, Pug who came to us from CA to find a better life. She is super friendly, fun, happy-go-lucky girl who wants to be in the presence of her person at all times. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She does well with other dogs but would honestly love to be someone’s “one and only” and soak up all of the love and attention for herself. She can resource guard people (when they are eating) and other dogs are around as she loves people food but really doesn’t care about dog food. She is a great girl who would make a wonderful addition for one lucky family. Lorilei is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $600.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sansa - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name, Sansa, in Romania meaning 'chance'. My chance for a loving home and family, my chance to shine!! I was found by a library dumpster, hoping against all hope that someone would find me. I sure enough was and I was deemed the name Sansa! I am a tad bit shy at first meet but it won't be long before I'm following you...everywhere!! I'm only a youngster at around a year old so I have a lot of learning to do about this big ole world yet as new and loud noises makes me a little nervous. I am playful and have a little bit of a goofy side to me. I love playing with my 'sibling' pups and do great with people once I get to know them. I love playing with my toys especially the ones that go 'squeak'!! I'm also quite fond on getting pets on the forehead and my back legs. At about 20lbs I'm a pawsome size for being that companion pup for someone that works from home or is retired. My ideal home would to be part of a family that will have lots of time to give me lovins and attention. I could even do great being that adventure companion! I have so much love to give along with my playful nature (and this cutest little underbite going on) that you just cant' help but want to squeeze me in big hugs!! To get in all those hugs, you just need to fill out my adoption application...today, please!!!!

Story
Meet Whimsy! She’s an adorable little pug mix about 3 years old and 10 pounds. Whimsy is a feisty little lady with so much love to give. She’s energetic and loves to play fetch with toys and run. She’s a dream on a leash, always looking for your clues about what to do next. She’s very eager to please and obedient. l do not think she’d had any exposure to potty training, but she’s learning quickly that when we go outside, we go potty. When she does go potty inside, it’s usually on a pee pad. She doesn’t love getting into her crate, but once there settles down quickly and sleeps a solid 8 hours in the crate with no issues. She hardly ever barks. She does need work on resource guarding from other dogs: food, people, favorite lounging spots and - to a lesser extent - toys. But with the right home, she’s sure to thrive!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Bruno! This young pup came to us a few weeks ago. He was found in a rural area and was clearly in distress. It appeared he had sustained a head injury, possibly from being hit by a car, or possible from abuse. It is hard to tell. He has been recovering in his foster home and is doing very well. He is an outgoing and sweet little boy. He loves other dogs and all humans though he can be a little hand shy at times. He loves playing in the yard outside and chewing on his toys. He is so much fun. He is a little more wary of men and seems to prefer women but he is easily won over with a bit of patience.  Bruno is generally in good health but his injury has left him with minor neurological damage. His depth perception is not 100%, likely because one side of his brain sustained the injury and cause damage to his eye. He can see but the eye is turned outwards a little bit. He can sometimes turn in a circle, or walk backwards, as if to get his bearings. Overall he is just delightful and his mild impairment just makes him more endearing. Bruno is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Give a warm welcome to Trooper! He is a 2-year-old, 41lb Boston Terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Trooper is such an awesome dog! He is always in a good mood, wagging his tail, and friendly with everyone he meets. His happiness is definitely infectious to those around him. Trooper does well with other dogs and would be a great additional dog to a home or be fine as an only dog. His ideal forever home would be one that takes him on adventures to explore and see as much of the world as possible. He is very spunky and playful and will make such an amazing dog for any lucky family that adopts him. Trooper is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
