Story
Hi everyone, I’m Shelby! I’m a beautiful brindle boxer mix with the cutest underbite. My papers say I’m 5 years old, but I’m full of energy and spunk. I’m about 45 pounds and already spayed. I’m crate trained and working hard on house training. I get along with other dogs and love to run and play with them. I’ve also tested well with cats. I think I would love kids but my energy may be a bit much for small kids. I can also be a bit nippy when I’m excited/playing. I would reallllly love a fenced in yard to run in, I’m super duper fast! It should be a tall fence though because I’m very springy and can jump really high. Once I get my zoomies out, I love to cuddle up on the couch with my people. I’m working hard on my manners, like not jumping or counter surfing, but it’s a work in progress. I can’t wait to find an active/energetic family of my own. ##1774486##

Story
Hi my name is Esalda. I am about 12 weeks old. They say I am a boxer/terrier mix. Let me tell you all about myself. I am a gorgeous puppy that came up with my 7 brothers and sisters. I currently live with my sister Marisol. I also have a foster mom, dad, 11 year old sister, 2 furr foster brothers and a furr foster sister. I am working hard on potty training but I just don't have it down yet. I am really good in the crate though. After me and my sister play hard all day, I am pretty tired. My foster dad picks me up and puts me right in. I cuddle up with my sister and fall fast asleep. I don't make any noise until my foster mom wakes up. Then I am super excited, I can't help but make cute noises. She takes me outside right away so I don't have an accident in the house. Thank goodness because holding my pee all night is hard. But I don't want to sleep in my mess so I hold it. I love to just cuddle on my foster moms lap in the morning. I really love to play with everyone. There isn't a dog I have met that I don't want to play with. Don't I sound like the perfect addition to your family? I can't wait to meet you. ##1971872##

Story
Hi, I am Emily, and I’m looking for a special person to adopt me, because I am special myself!  Here’s the situation, I’m deaf.  One of the disadvantages of being deaf is that I apparently have a very loud “screech” instead of a bark.  I can’t hear myself so it doesn’t bother me at all, but I’m told that it’s not a pleasant sound for those that can hear.  I will need training and guidance to help me control my vocalizations.  Speaking of training, I come with a free training package at adoption!  You and I can learn things together, such as: hand signals for “QUIET!”, and how to settle down when I get rambunctious, or “Leave it” when I see small critters (I love to chase small animals!). I also need to learn how to properly greet other dogs, because apparently, I come in a little hot, which is off-putting to potential new dog friends.  My good qualities? I have quite a few! I love to cuddle, all 55 lbs of me! You will never be lonely again as long as I’m around! Unless you’re going in the car…something about riding in cars really makes me nervous. Did I mention I’m housebroken?! Yep, I know where to do my business and you won’t have to worry about cleaning up after me in the house.  I also love all humans and dogs! I just want to make friends with everyone! So if you are a patient person, up for the challenge of training a deaf dog, and want a new best friend… I’m your girl.  A tall fence, preferably a privacy fence, is required.  I’m strong and can break tie-outs and jump small fences when I see something that I want to chase (cats/deer) or someone I want to visit (neighbors).I just need my very own human that is patient and willing to take the time to speak a language that I can understand, so I can learn how to be the best dog ever. Apply to adopt me now through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, 15144. Story
Little Miss Moxie is a petite pup at only around 35lbs...she does still need to put on a few more pounds though.  She was on the brink of being euthanized at a local kennel but saved just in the nick of time.  Moxie is only around 1-2yrs old and is a total love bug.  All she wants is to be next to (or on top of) her people.  She's been fine with her foster dog siblings but would still require a meet and greet with any resident dogs.  She gets very excited and can be a little jumpy, but seems to have an overall very calm and more laid back demeanor for being so young.  You can correct her very easily...it's possible she may have been abused wherever she came from because the second you raise your voice at her to correct her she cowers back into her crate :(.  She's also been doing great in her crate and with house-training.  As sweet as this girl is though, she is not a fan of her fellow felines so definitely no cats.  Moxie is soooo ready to finally find her happily ever after! ##2033731##

Story
Deacon spent 6 years of his life in a shelter!! We had to give him a chance. When Deacon came out of the shelter he wasn't quite ready for the outside world. Luckily All The Way Canine Academy stepped up by taking him in to help him adjust to a life outside of the shelter. Deacon is ready to find his forever family and be given a real chance at a life he deserves. Deacon can be shy at first, understandably, but once he opens up he will happily give you butt wiggles and his paw asking for affection. Deacon is loving but doesn't need constant affection and can relax on his own. Deacon will easily relax in the home. He would do well with a crate as the crate is his safe place.

Story
Meet Randy Randy is such a looker! This guy is as playful and goofy as they come. Randy is young, only about a year old and has had no training at all before coming into rescue. He's a 50lb puppy! Randy loves all toys, he'll chew on anything. He's learning no and doing okay with that but much more training is needed. As far as his housebreaking, he learned our bell system in 48 hours. We still have some accidents, but he's doing wonderful. He sleeps all through the night with no accidents. Currently he sleeps in the bed with his foster family. He is crated when his foster family leaves him home alone, he does well with that. His foster home contains cats and dogs. Randy does great with all his foster siblings. Leash training is coming along very well. Since Randy needs so much training, we can not adopt him to a home with children under 13 at least. Preference will be given to applicants who own their own home. You can see Randy at petsmart every Saturday from 12-4. A completed approved application is needed for any meet and greet. An approved application is followed with a home visit. Be sure to check out Randy’s Facebook page (Randy The Foster Dog) to learn more about him!! Feel free to follow and share this sweet boy with all of your friends!
