Deacon spent 6 years of his life in a shelter!! We had to give him a chance. When Deacon came out of the shelter he wasn't quite ready for the outside world. Luckily All The Way Canine Academy stepped up by taking him in to help him adjust to a life outside of the shelter. Deacon is ready to find his forever family and be given a real chance at a life he deserves. Deacon can be shy at first, understandably, but once he opens up he will happily give you butt wiggles and his paw asking for affection. Deacon is loving but doesn't need constant affection and can relax on his own. Deacon will easily relax in the home. He would do well with a crate as the crate is his safe place.

Introducing Pilot! This handsome 10-month-old, 50lb Boxer mix is ready to fly straight into your heart. Pilot was found as a stray, but no one came forward to claim him. Since arriving, we’ve learned he’s an incredibly lovable boy who just wants to be close to his people. Once he warms up, you’ll see what a truly amazing soul he is! He’s sweet, gentle, and eager for connection. Pilot enjoys his toys and treats and is happiest just being by your side. He does well with other dogs, though a meet-and-greet is always required to make sure everyone gets along. We believe he could do well with cats given slow introductions, and he’d be a great fit for a home with older kids, especially ones sturdy enough to handle his happy zoomies! Right now, Pilot is still getting used to the shelter routine. At the end of the day, he curls up in his bed, making himself small, and looks out longingly from his kennel, quietly hoping someone will come take him home. Hi everyone! This girl is Jussy. She’s a 9 year old boxer mix and she is the heart of everyone here at SHPR…especially mine personally. Jussy has been here for 3 years. 3 YEARS!!! 😢 That is 3 years without a comfy bed to snuggle her loved one on, 3 years without a couch to stretch out on while watching the basketball playoffs, 3 years without the love she so truly deserves. She loves people of all ages! She gets up on my 11 year old stepsons lap and smooches all over him. She absolutely would be everyone’s best friend! The reason she is still here is because she needs to be an only pet. Surely there has to be someone that has a fabulous family and no other pets and they are looking for the perfect dog to bring home with them?!?!? I’m begging, please share her post. If you know someone that is looking, please ask them to just come meet her..because once they do, they will be in love like we are! For the right family, I will sponsor her adoption fee myself.
