Story
Gypsy is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down there, so she is willing to relocate for a good, loving, forever home. Gypsy came from a bad home. She was not being fed and was severely underweight. So the people surrendered Gypsy and her puppies to animal control to avoid animal cruelty charges. We had Gypsy DNA tested and the results are mostly Boxer, Husky, and German Shepherd. She bounces on her front legs when she is excited and we now know that comes from the Boxer in her. Gypsy is around 4 years of age and weighs 70 pounds (she only weighed 35 pounds when we got her). Gypsy is a very good girl and is the most obedient dog I have ever seen. Gypsy is fairly active. Gypsy loves to run and play with her toys and she especially loves squeaky toys. Gypsy loves water and lays in the wading pool when it is hot. She gets excited about squirrels and cats on the other side of the fence. Gypsy does well with all dogs but gets along best with male dogs. She is normally good around small dogs but will occasionally mistake one for a toy when she gets over-excited. So she is not recommended for homes with small dogs. Gypsy loves human attention and is good with children. She can sit and comes when called, She is crate-trained, house-trained, and otherwise very well-behaved in the house. She could perhaps use a bit more obedience training with someone that is firm, patient, and loving. Gypsy is very sweet. She gets attached to her human and likes to lay under my desk when I work on the computer. Gypsy walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She must be in the house as a loved member of the family and would like a large yard with a 6' fence to run and play. Gypsy is healthy. She is spayed, fully vaccinated (DAPPvL2, Bordatella, rabies), and microchipped. Gypsy had a light case of heartworms when we first got her. We used the slow-kill method (we are happy to explain this) and she is now negative for heartworms and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Gypsy's adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport to the Pittsburgh area. She is being fostered in Texas and cannot be transported until after she is adopted. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Heidi - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Heidi, full of youthful exuberance for life, innocence and curiosity. Ready to crawl right into your heart (won't take long either!!) and be a part of a family...YOUR family! I am still a youngster yet, a big puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and am quite agile. I could be a great candidate for obedience classes and maybe even some fun ones like agility classes. I'm a smart cookie (i know cuz my foster mom tell me so!) and catch on quickly. At 11 months and around 45lbs, I shouldn't get much bigger at my adult weight. What a perfect size for...everything! Neighborhood strolls, nature hikes(aaaah, all those wonderful tantalizing smells), camping, being a co-pilot for errand runs or trips to the park! You name it, I'm ready to give it a whirl and have a blast too (with whatever it is) just cuz we're doing it together!! And the bestest part is that I'm also small enough that I don't hog the whole couch for my cherished cuddle time!! My foster mom wanted you to know this about me - -she is housebroken -she wants to be a lap dog; -she would fit well with an adult home with older children; -with her high prey drive she should be in a home without small dogs or cats but will do well with her size or larger size breed of dogs; -she is a fast learner and will shine with an owner that will include her in their everyday life adventures; -she is crate trained; -she follows basic commands and walks well on leash; -she thrives on daily walks; -she’s a family dog and will make a fabulous family member; -she loves walks, hikes, exploring, tug of war and games using her nose and sparking her intelligence; -she’s quite agile and shows ability in figuring out how to jump over or crawl under set obstacles. She is happy, fun loving and eager to bring joy to her forever home! As my short sleek coat is low maintenance in the grooming department, making me more of a wash-n-to type of gal. And you do know what that means don't you?!! Oh yep yep, lots of extra time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And you know that's what it's all about!! ;) Big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet, my oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunning good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family?

If Zen had a picture it would be of me, finding mindful awareness of the present moment. I've been working on minding my manners but am fully aware and ready if presently could be action packed adventure time!! I come in at 11months and only around 36lbs which makes me a perfect candidate for a family that is action packed! I'm always ready for an adventure (any adventure!). From strolls to hikes, from camping trips to errand trips with you, I am ready!! I'm also on the snuggly side enjoying some cuddle time when the day is done, so if you need some Zen in your life, that's me!! I get along great with the other foster pups here and I love people, both tall to small. And I am both house and crate trained! I might do better in a home without a cat, as I do like to chase them if they run but I am working on that! My beautiful stiped coat is a head turned for sure and it's very short and sleek making me low maintenance in the grooming department. Oh boy, that's sure a win win for the both of us, lots more time in the 'spoil me rotten' department. And yes indeed that's my favoritest time, you and me time, lots of snuggles and cuddles!! Is your life missing something? A little awareness that is action ready? I could be your missing piece, the Zen to fill it!! WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Hello there! I'm Mavis, your dream pup! I'm on a mission to find my forever home. I promise to bring an overload of cuteness with my irresistible smooshy face. My bark? It’s got that endearing Chewbacca vibe! I'm a big fan of water games and I'm a pro at fetch and tug-of-war. I get along great with other dogs and cats. Snuggling? I'm your girl! So make sure to keep a spot warm for me. I'm pretty smart, too. Walking on a leash, sitting, laying down, and staying put are all in my skill set. I spend my nights quietly in my kennel and I'm making good progress with my potty training. And if I do say so myself, I've got a personality that’s simply the best! What I want more than anything is a family I can call my own. If you've got a doggy who loves to play, that’s even better! I’m always ready for a new adventure, so if you're looking for a travel buddy, that’s me. Let’s make some memories together! Mavis is around 8 months old and weighs about 30lbs. She is a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix (our best guess). She is spayed, up to date on vaccines. She is microchipped and is currently on flea and heartworm preventative. She is great with the kiddos and cats.

Story
Meet Blair! Blair was adopted from God's Dogs Rescue as a puppy. Her adopted mom loved her very much until she passed away. Instead of continuing to treasure this sweet pup, the family tossed her. Now at 6 years of age, Blair was picked up as a stray in Hondo. Somewhere along the way, she was massively overfed, but Blair has already lost almost 20# in her new foster home. She has progressed from getting out of breath walking from the car into the house to zooming joyfully in the backyard with the rest of the pack! She also excels at catching popcorn! Blair has a bit more weight to lose to be ready for bikini season, but she is well on her way, having lost almost 30 lbs so far. Blair is a stage 5 cuddlebug. All she wants to do is be with her family. Her big brown soulful eyes, crooked lower teeth & lips-to-"teef sticking "problem are sure to melt your heart. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Hi! I'm Jack. My foster mom calls me Jack-O-Lantern because of my handsome colors. I love walking in the neighborhood and ran into some people that rescued me. Well I jumped in the middle while they were saving 4 puppies because I wanted to join the party. I love to cuddle and can provide lots of licks because I am a major love bug. I also enjoy making doggy friends. Dog friendly parks and restaurants are some of my favorite places to hang out. My foster mom says that I behave perfectly in a home. I share the couch, eat from my own bowl and know that the only place to go potty is outside. I even learned to use a dog door. I will also "sit before you hand me my food for the day. I am not that interested in toys. A few chew toys are scattered around my room but I don't really know what they are for. I can be in a crate but prefer to roam the house while you are at work. I just want to find my person that I can explore the outdoors with and maybe make a dog friend along the way. If I get on your lap, will you love me forever? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Rip is a total sweetheart. It's not fair of us to keep him cause we are unable to care for him the way he deserves. He's always in his crate, because we're not home or poor behavior. He's a 1 year old Pit my daughter found on the side of a busy road when he was about 6 weeks old. He's still in his chewing phase and, if left unwatched, will chew on the furniture. He knows your basic commands, but does not listen when he's worked up and/or excited. He's potty trained and usually goes to the front door when he needs to go out, but will sometimes go in the house or the crate. He loves toys, though if it's soft it'll likely lose all it's stuffing quickly. If you go near his mouth when he has something he really doesn't want to part with, he has bitten a once or twice. It left little couple marks on my arm. I have a small female dog and a cat. Rip plays rough and is scared of dogs his size or bigger when loose. He comes with his crate and everything. We'd like to be able to visit

We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval. FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $250 ** PLEASE NOTE: The breed mix posted is simply a GUESS on our part, we DO NOT do DNA testing. Hi all! Thanks for stopping by to check me out!! My name is Miss Rohan, I am a 4 yr old 70 lb cuddle bug!! I ended up in rescue when it was determined that I would be best suited in a home with no other animals. But quite honestly, who needs other animals to play with when you humans will do just fine?! In addition to snuggling with 2 legged folks, I also LOVE taking walks/hikes and playing fetch. Although I am considered a young adult, I have lots of puppy energy to expend so an active owner(s) is a must. Car rides?? LOVE them, as they typically end up supplying me with new and exciting adventures. There are some things I must brag about. First of all, I am totally potty trained which seems to be really important to you folks. Also, I am crate trained as well. Which means when you leave your house, you don't have to fret about me getting into anything while you're gone. Now for what makes me really really special....I am hearing impaired and because I am so smart, I have already mastered my hand signals (intelligent AND gorgeous)!! Yup, I am THAT special! My ideal home would be one that will continue to supply me with ample playtime, lots and lots of hugs, and has patience while learning how we communicate with each other. The folks here at the rescue are insisting on a fenced in yard for me and if you have kids, they need to be older (like teenager age). I am a strong gal, so walking me on a leash can prove challenging unless the correct harness is utilized (foster mom can fill you in on that detail). I get so excited to see what's ahead of me that I have a tendency to move faster than the human at the other end of my leash!! I have tons of love and happiness to add to the right home.....maybe it's yours? If so, fill out that adoption application and my people will be in touch with you!! love, rohan https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfq4U7G0-dPdnIAyHdlAAZ11IQN5SVy0PEMLEnGOAOJWANOfA/viewform
