She like to play the occasional ball running to retrieve and likes to play keep away so you have to be quick! She like to chew with her hard toys. This girl wants all the attention so someone without other dogs or kids is the best fit. Someone with a regular day to day job, not gone more than a normal days work or gone days on end. She wants lots of love and is content to just cuddle, snuggle or ball up on a soft doggie bed in the room where you are. Loves to shuffle blankets around and curl up.

We are looking to rehome our sweet boy. He’s a Boxer/Pit mix, full of love and personality. He does great with kids and gets along well with dogs that are his size or larger. He’s loyal, affectionate, and loves being around people. He is 5 years old. However, he cannot be around cats or smaller animals. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, no small pets, and someone who can give him the attention and love he deserves. This is a tough decision, and we’re only doing it to make sure he goes to the right environment where he can truly be happy and safe.

We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/8/25 Still available! 11/27/25 Chive is #9 of our 10 'Spice Pups.' Tgis gorgeous little boy is sweet as can be! He has normal puppy energy- he is neither hyper or exceptionally calm, but somewhere in betwee. He loves to play and also loves to cuddle, equally. We dont know the breed of these puppies, they are all different, so there's probably more than 1 'daddy' involved. Mom is very mixed. Chive has boxer like markings and a slick, shiny, soft coat He will likely be around 50 lbs when grown, but this is just a guess based on her current size and build. He is precious and sweet and he is going to make a great addition to a family! He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Currently 8 weeks old at the time of this post, and weighs about 8 lbs. Chive is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. people were giving away this 8 week old pittie. We could tell he was being miss treated. He was the runt. so we were told he got picked on. He was staying in a dirty home. So we took him to find a better home for him. He has I wanna say one or two shots since we took him to the vet. He around 6 months old we estimated his birthday his February 19th, 2025. My partner is starting a job very soon so we don’t have time for him nor do we have family to watch him. He never been aggressive, . He just plays rough. He loves playing in rivers and fetch. is very much a lap dog even tho he60lbs. He knows how to sit, give paw and lay down, tho he is very stubborn at times. He is crate trained as well. He loves to just run and play. Hes a good boy when it comes to baths. Loves a good nature walk. He just wants to meet everyone. I do feel like he could use a sibling. He rings the bell to go potty. Large cage, toys, bells, food, treats and bowls included. All we ask is updates on him:)

When she first arrived at the shelter, her world had been turned upside down, and she completely shut down; she wouldn’t eat, and she barely acknowledged our staff. She now enjoys her walks, happily leans in for those beloved booty scratches, and is slowly rediscovering joy.
