Story
Meet Rose. She is a petite 40lb, 2 year old. Our best guess is that she has boxer, staffy, or bulldog in her or a combination of those breeds. Rose started her life in Tennessee being bred, only to be turned in to a shelter and finding she had heartworms. She now starts her new life in PA as a heartworm survivor, spayed, and ready to find a place to call home. She is a low to medium energy girl that likes to cuddle on the couch with you and give kisses or chew on a bone. Rose is create and house trained. She is treat motivated and has learned sit, paw, down, and roll over. She is people friendly and will roll over to get belly rubs. Rose would prefer to be your one and only but may do well with another calm dog that will respect her space. We recommend no cats or small animals. Rose is currently being fostered in Littlestown, PA. Her pictures don't do her justice, come meet her in person to see what a cutie pie she is! Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet boy. He’s a Boxer/Pit mix, full of love and personality. He does great with kids and gets along well with dogs that are his size or larger. He’s loyal, affectionate, and loves being around people. He is 5 years old. However, he cannot be around cats or smaller animals. He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, no small pets, and someone who can give him the attention and love he deserves. This is a tough decision, and we’re only doing it to make sure he goes to the right environment where he can truly be happy and safe.

Story
I’m called Lil’ Dude, but my foster mom likes to call me Iggy, short for Igor. I guess it’s because of my adorable smile. What makes me smile? Cuddling! I love snuggling with my foster mom. She calls me a big giant baby. Ooo, and cheese. Cheese always makes me smile! I’m learning a lot from my foster big sister - I can now sit, come, go bedtime, and sometimes even stay! I’m even 95% potty trained - I can stay home for 5 - 6 hrs without having an accident, but if I can’t hold it, I know how to use a pee pad. My foster uncle says I’ve come a long way and would be the perfect dog for someone who can keep helping me with my manners. Oh, and if they have a fenced-in yard where I can jump and smell?! That would be doggie heaven! I might be open to a new friend, if you have someone you`d like me to meet. I can`t promise we will be best buddies but I would be open to meeting a friend and we can go from there. Check out a video of Lil Dude here: https://youtu.be/zJKJxe1YA0sInterested in adopting me? I am in a foster home so things need to be done a little differently. We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then calling the shelter to let them know you are interested in meeting me!. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.

Story
Hello there! I’m called “Bumble”. You know, the Gigantic, white furred Yeti with long pointed fangs in the movie “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer”! NO, just Kidding! I am Bumble, BUT a lover of all things. Young, old, humans, other dogs and even cats! I’m a humble boy who loves to play, fetch, eager to please and even tempered! Shy at first when out of my comfort zone, I do warm up quick and give/take affection freely. At just 2 1/2 year old, about 60#, I do have a lot to learn. Having been 1 of “7” turned into a shelter at a young age, we stayed huddled close for strength. Scared and unsure of the future, Molly’s Place stepped in and brought us to rescue. Although some of my family have been adopted, I'm still looking for just the right home to call our own. I’ve heard “Good things come to those that wait!” Well, I know there is a plan for my future and I’m a patient boy in nature yet ready anytime to meet my special family. My brothers were adopted but I must say I am the MOST HANSOME anyway, just waiting for the right family! Snowy white, wiry hair around my face, deep dark expressive eyes, black button nose and a smile that can light up the night when playing and romping. Being “Goofy” comes natural to me, but thought to be Boxer/Border Terrier mix, I do have intelligence and brain power to learn be trained. No fenced in yard required nor prior dog experience required, just down and dirty time, Love to give and experiences to allow me to be the best I can be. How about meeting. I’m Bumble, and I’ll “Bee” all you want me to “Bee” and more! To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 7, 2026, 4:35 pm
