Meet Red: Red is about a 2 year old (as of December 2025) boxer / black mouth cur mix (best guess) that weighs about 50 pounds. Red was found on the streets in rural Mississippi with her litter of puppies. The puppies have all been adopted and now it’s her turn. Red is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Red is a very friendly dog. Red is sweet and nice to have around. Red gets along great with other dogs, but we do not recommend that she live with cats. Red is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need some patience while she transitions to another method. We would love for Red to have a home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play freely. Red is up to date on her shots and spayed. Red had been heartworm positive, but has completed treatments and is good to go! Welcome boxer and senior dog lovers! This handsome, salt-and-pepper fellow is Pierre, a 9-year old boxer patiently waiting for someone to love and share his golden years with in his forever home. Pierre is a people-oriented guy and adores his humans. While he is living in a multi-dog foster home and has made several canine friends there, he would very much enjoy being the center of attention as an only dog in his forever home. When he came to the rescue, Pierre was a bit frail and underweight. As his weight, muscle tone, and overall health improved, so did his strength. He is in excellent condition and health for a dog in his season of life. Pierre walks well on leash and also enjoys moderate hikes. He adores a good car ride, snuggles on the couch, or just chilling on the floor while the humans do their thing. Pierre is crate-trained and rests nicely in crate when his foster family is at work. Pierre would benefit from a schedule where he can have pottery breaks during the day. He would be excellent for someone who has a flexible schedule. Pierre is microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, is on tick/heartworm preventatives. He had senior bloodwork done before receiving a dental to freshen up that cute mouth of his. We are looking to rehome our sweet boy. He’s a Boxer/Pit mix, full of love and personality. He does great with kids and gets along well with dogs that are his size or larger. He’s loyal, affectionate, and loves being around people. He is 5 years old. However, he cannot be around cats or smaller animals. He enjoys watching dog videos on TikTok. His favorites are Princess Poppy and Dozer’s World. This sweet, 6 mo old boxer mix was found as a stray, starving to death and in pitiful shape, when he was just a baby. It took a while to get him healthy enough to complete his vetting. He was severely anemic from fleas, ticks, and worms, so we had to handle that first, and get some weight on him, before he could be neutered. Thanks to a very kind and committed foster mama, he is now healthy, happy, well socialized, and fully vetted. Carl is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and he loves other dogs, cats, and chickens. He loves all humans, including kids. He is just a fabulous pup, and as a bonus, he has the cutest little under bite imaginable! We believe he is a Boxer mix but probably wont be as large as a full boxer. He is currently about 30 lbs at 6 months old, so he may top out at 40-50 lbs. From Carl’s foster mom: He always looks at me like he is waiting for me to talk to him. Willing to do anything I say. He knows sit and stay, down, shake. I usually do it in sign language to him because I am on the phone alot. He also knows the words morning snacks, daytime snacks and night time snacks. Mr Bones loves his snacks and loves to play. He is a medium-high energy pup. He plays great with the other dogs in the house and thinks he is the same size as the other dogs that are easily 2-3 times his size. He does seem to be teething but has not been chewing anything but dog toys. Don’t miss out on this beautiful, well behaved, sweet boy! Penny was a lucky one that was rescued from a southern high kill shelter after she was scheduled for euthanasia. Once in the foster’s home it was discovered that she was pregnant; Penny gave birth to 3 live puppies and remaining 6 were still born. She has been a wonderfully sweet mama and we want to find her and her pups the best forever homes! Penny is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Penny is a very sweet, active young lady and will need a family that likes to be active as well. Penny is a very playful girl who is constantly getting the zoomies.
