Then a series of events resulted in Riley being locked up in a shelter as a stray for a short time. The police had found her wandering the Long Beach Marina. It's all a long story, but Riley is none the worse for her adventures and she has taken everything in stride. Pretty Riley has brown tabby stripes, white throat, tummy, and paws, and bright greenish eyes. Riley's 15 years old, vet-checked, and doing fine. Riley's also such a sweetheart. She's not afraid; she welcomes pets and attention even from strangers. She likes to hang out near her foster. Riley enjoys a bit of gossip -- talk to her and she'll chatter back.
