Story
Mittens showed up on someone's doorstep pregnant with four babies. They were all born healthy a couple months later and placed in good homes. This Kitty was just a youngster herself and now is up ready for a home of her own. Very nice disposition and good with people and other cats. My version fireworks she has four white paws and deserves the name Mittens.

Cloud is very sweet, gentle and beautiful! Cloud is being adopted through the San Gabriel Valley Animal Advocates. If you are interested in adopting Cloud, please submit an adoption application at http://www.sgvaa.org and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Your adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all their health and medical needs. Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. We can arrange meet-and-greets with our foster families, at our live-in habitats in the West Covina and El Monte Petcos, as well as at the Huntington Beach (Edinger) PetSmart. SGVAA is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue organization serving the San Gabriel Valley area. For more information on how you can help your community, please visit: www.sgvaa.org Their Adoption Process If you are interested in any of our adoptable pets or have additional questions, please fill out an adoption application and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Since we are an all-volunteer organization, it may take us within 24-48 hours to respond. Our little fur babies are so adorable that sometimes we get multiple applications for one pet! So if the pet you are interested in is no longer available there is no need to worry! We have plenty of friends who are furry! As part of the adoption process, we screen each new potential owner, and do home visits to ensure that an animal and owner are a good match. Once your adoption application has been approved, we will have you fill out a Pet Promise Certificate (adoption contract) *SGVAA’s adoption donation allows us to rescue the next kitty from the streets and pay for all of their health and welfare needs (spay, neuter, shots, deworming, flea meds, microchip) *We also provide free home delivery of your new kitty/kitties! About This Rescue SGVAA is dedicated to the protection and humane treatment of pets in the San Gabriel Valley area. We encourage people to rescue a homeless animal instead of buying one. Our organization also educates the community on the importance of early vaccinations for fatal and easily preventable diseases. We also advocate spaying or neutering to reduce pet overpopulation. Once an animal is in our care we vaccinate all rescues against disease & provide needed health care, fight pet overpopulation by spaying or neutering all rescues, and provide lifetime shelter and care to any rescued animal that is not adopted. Come Meet Their Pets Most of our adoptable pets live in loving foster homes. Story
Two young women approached the AALOC front door and rang the doorbell. With only one team member working that afternoon handling all the animals’ needs she was unable to respond immediately. When no one answered quickly enough the two women left the box with five precious female kittens and drove away. We are currently maxed out on space but how can you turn your back on these sweet little babies that no one cares about? We named these adorable, female cats after perfumes. If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know healthy cats smell delicious. They constantly groom themselves to keep their fur clean. Cats also use smell as their primary sense for identifying people and objects. Felines have over 200 million odor sensors in their nose. Compare this to humans who have a mere five million. Cats can smell more than 14 times better than we can so always be conscious of the smell of scented litter, candles or other items/people that might upset your cat. Besides, we think Estee, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Tabu are very upscale cats. And we know they all need and deserve great forever homes. Please apply to adopt Estee (and one or more of her siblings if you can!) at www.aaloc.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Estee and get to know her a bit. Donation of $100 for cat adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip. Applications require a veterinary reference and home visit. We adopt to residents of Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Please note: For families with children, we require children to be 10 years of age or older, although exceptions are made depending on the circumstances. For more information on adoption policies visit our cat adoption page at www.aaloc.org. Contact us by e-mail at aaloc@aaloc.org.

Hattie is a super cute and sweet older kitten with a big personality. She’s full of energy, loves to play, and would thrive with a young, playful friend to keep her company. She especially loves to play interactive hide and seek games and also loves to tackle her toys. Hattie is curious, smart, and doesn't scare easily—she’s always ready to explore something new. Despite her adventurous spirit, she’s also very affectionate and loves to snuggle up and purr.

Story
Mirabel is the life of the party. She is bold, outgoing, and runs the show even though she is a petite girl! We would call her a princess, but she's more like a queen. Mirabel is unafraid of anything and will be the first to explore. She is independent and can keep herself entertained, but she also loves to play with you! Once she's done playing, she'll come find the nearest cozy human for some kisses, purrs, and cuddles in your lap. Don't let her RBF fool you, this girl is as sweet as pie. She'll make biscuits on your lap with a nice mouthful of furry blanket. She likes to always be near the action, even if that means you're just watching TV together. Her favorite past time is watching the toilet water go down the bowl. Close second is hiding in the cat tube to pounce any cat, dog, or human that comes by. Mirabel would do best in a home with a playmate. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and humans. Apply to adopt the queen today!

Story
Rain Drop has weathered some tough storms, but he's come out the other side with a heart full of love and a playful spark that’s impossible to miss. Originally part of our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, Rain Drop ran into trouble soon after release when a bone got stuck in the roof of his mouth, causing a painful infection. He was brought in for medical care, and once he started healing, it became clear that this guy wasn't meant for street life. He’s far too sweet and social! Now safe and thriving in a foster home, Rain Drop has made an amazing recovery. He’s truly blossomed into a confident, affectionate, and high-energy companion. Rain Drop is incredibly playful—he loves to leap after wand toys, race through his tunnel, and show off his athletic moves. Once he’s had his fun, he’s all about the cuddles. Ear rubs? Yes, please. Human attention? He can’t get enough. This quirky, charming guy is ready to leave his rough past behind and step into the spotlight in a home of his own. He prefers to be king of the castle and would thrive as the only cat in the home. He hasn’t lived with dogs and seems a little unsure when he hears barking outside. Rain Drop would love nothing more than to be the star of the show and soak up all the love. Could your home be the sunny spot at the end of Rain Drop’s storm?
