Layla was born in Feb.2025. She has been with us since Summer of 2025. We have 2 dogs. One dog is fine with her, and the other dog will just continually bark everytime she sees her and because of this the dog stays in a bedroom with the door shut pretty much all day. We've tried all types of different things to see if things could change but they just arent changing. We have 2 older dogs, 13 and 12, and maybe we shouldnt have brought a kitten in. I just want Layla to have a good home because she is very loveable. She still plays like a kitten. She loves plastic bottle caps, and hiding in paper bags. She's never had an accident.

Nala was our first pet and we got her when our oldest daughter was first born so she's about 9 and a half. She is an indoor cat but has explored our back patio a few times so might learn to enjoy outside as well. Nala would be great in a home where she was the only pet. Personality: She is a peoples cat. She LOVES people and thinks she is a lap dog. She wants to constantly be pet and loves being in the center of everyone's space haha. She does great with kids and babies. Other Pets: She is an alpha, so does not do well with other pets. Since she was our first pet, she makes every other animal in the house know that. We got another cat a year later and a dog some years later, and Nala is the queen amongst the pets in our house. Our other cat wants to play with her but she doesn't have it. Our large breed dog also doesn't bother her because Nala's demeanor of "dont mess with me" shuns off our dogs interest. She might tolerate other cats but wouldn't fare well with dogs.

Kirra was our 2nd pet and we got her when our oldest daughter was about 1 so she's about 9. She is an indoor cat and timid so has never had interest in going outside. She would be great in a home where she was the only pet or other friendly cats. Personality: She is sweet, loving cat who loves people and kids. She is timid and shy so most of the day she is hiding somewhere comfy with the days comotion but comes out when it's quite. She will lay right against you or on your lap when things have quiet down. She wants to be loved when she feels safe and there is nothing loud or scary going on around. Other Pets: She always trys to play with our other (alpha) cat but the other cat doesn't have it. She HATES our large breed dog. So Kirra would be great with a loving family without any other pets or other friendly cats.

Two young women approached the AALOC front door and rang the doorbell. With only one team member working that afternoon handling all the animals’ needs she was unable to respond immediately. When no one answered quickly enough the two women left the box with five precious female kittens and drove away. We are currently maxed out on space but how can you turn your back on these sweet little babies that no one cares about? We named these adorable, female cats after perfumes. If you’ve ever owned a cat, you know healthy cats smell delicious. They constantly groom themselves to keep their fur clean. Cats also use smell as their primary sense for identifying people and objects. Felines have over 200 million odor sensors in their nose. Compare this to humans who have a mere five million. Cats can smell more than 14 times better than we can so always be conscious of the smell of scented litter, candles or other items/people that might upset your cat. Besides, we think Estee, Chanel, Prada, Gucci and Tabu are very upscale cats. And we know they all need and deserve great forever homes. Because this cat kept hanging out at our house, we tried to adopt this neighborhood stray, had him fixed and vaccinated. At first, our two domesticated cats didn’t mind his presence but after a while resentment became an issue. We believe that the stress with attempting to have all of the cats to cohabitate became too much of a problem especially with our rag doll cat who has developed a respiratory problem with asthma. We believe the cats are becoming more territorial is marking up the house with urine, fecal matter and scent spraying. An issue that was not present before the arrival of Blue. The stressful situation is also causing a serious issue with family members in the household and their relationships in trying to address this.

Long time companion who has been with us for almost 15 years along with his brother, Mig. Need to re home as our lifestyle has changed. It is with great regret to have to re home him, but he deserves a life of enrichment and pats that our current environment can no longer provide. He is happy, sweet, loving, and very talkative! He enjoys the company of people and sleeping on laps and in bed with his person. He is a bonded pair and we hope to re home both him and his brother to a kind and loving home. Someone that does not have cats or dogs currently. They mostly sleep all day and sit next to you where ever you are. Please feel free to ask more questions if you have them. These boys are amazing!
