Story
Eleanor came to HHR as a stray from a rough neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted cats. We attempted to find an owner but she was never reclaimed. Eleanor gets along fine with other cats and would be a perfect first time/family kitty. Eleanor is about a 2-3 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative. To meet her, please visit our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org and submit an application. Adoption donation $250.

Story
Meet Taylor — the shy sweetheart of our Summer I Turned Pretty litter! 💕 This gorgeous three-month-old calico is not only stunning but also a polydactyl girl, meaning she has extra toes that make her paws look like adorable little mittens. Taylor was rescued in Bridgeport alongside her siblings — Jeremiah, Conrad, and Isabel — and she has been blossoming in her foster home. Taylor is a playful and curious little girl who loves to chase toys and wrestle with her kitty friends. She absolutely adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with a feline companion to help boost her confidence. If you’re looking to adopt two, she is especially close to her foster brother, Jeremiah (orange & white), the other last kitten remaining. While she can be a bit skittish if you approach her too quickly, Taylor has a soft and tender heart — walk toward her gently while she’s cozy in her cat bed, and she’ll roll right over for sweet belly rubs. She’s the perfect blend of timid charm and playful sparkle — a girl who just needs a little patience to shine her brightest. Taylor’s adoption fee is $250 and she is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, and will be microchipped and spayed soon. If you're interested in this cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Miley was born June 7, 2020. She’s such a sweet, calm girlie. She can be playful, but she’s a bit serious most of the time. I’m looking for a loving forever home for Miley. Somewhere clean, with a family that will show affection, but also give her the space a princess like her needs.

Story
"Sugar Oh, honey, honeyYou are my candy girl And you got me wanting you"  Sweet as The Archie's most famous song, meet Betty Cooper (you do want her!) - the striking tabico girl next door! Clearly Archie's favorite, Betty is as darling as her namesake; sweet & pretty, an absolute love bug ready to cuddle right up next to you on the couch. Betty is as resilient as she is sweet, surviving outside as they did. And, Betty was never one to turn down solving a mystery, so let's help her solve the mystery of finding her forever family. She'll follow the clues right to her new home, so let's help her out and fill out an application! Betty needs to be with a young, playful cat (perhaps her brother or sister? ...both?) and would do well with respectful children. Betty really was the girl next door, living life as a stray in a backyard.  Along with her brother, Archie, and sister, Veronica, Betty was saved by a student who asked her teacher (who happened to be a trapper friend of ours!) for help and is now safe inside in foster care! You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page:  Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. ##2566479##

Story
Meet Holly Hobby Holly Hobby is a stunning dilute calico beauty with mesmerizing golden eyes and a quiet grace that will melt your heart. Holly loves to be petted and will look at you with those eyes so that you can't help but oblige! Petting her is very satisfying because she stretches her body into your hand to get the most out of your offered pets. Holly is a gentle girl who thrives in a nurturing environment. She is looking for a warm companion who is happy to hand out pets. She is a quiet, easy kitty who requests pets and leans into them. She is on a prescription diet to prevent crystals in her bladder. She eats her prescription food well. That is the only special care she needs. She will do best in a home with adults or a kind-hearted singleton. She also needs people who understand that not every cat enjoys being picked up. When her foster picks her up, Holly just lodges her complaint with management by squiggling and squirming. This sweetheart wouldn't resort to claws! She currently lives peacefully with other 4 cats and 4 kittens and would be happy in a feline-friendly home — or she’d be just as content being your one and only. Canine visitors put her on her guard. Holly likes to be treated to wet food. She will happily accept Temptations treats and Delectables, as well. She is very tidy with her litter box. She loves a comfy blanket and a good view of cat TV. Holly Hobby asks if you will be her friend? Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Lola was brought in from outdoors when the nice lady that was caring for her, along with her mama (Trish) and brother (Oscar), called Foster and Forever for help.  At first, Lola was very scared of everything and everybody, and was very spicy. She has  come around nicely now with the help of lots of love and patience from her foster family. She runs around the house, playing with other cats and her mama, Trish. Lola will follow her foster mom around, rub on her legs, and look for pets. She will let you pick her up and carry her around, snuggled on your shoulder, and will purr the whole time.  She has soft fur and beautiful swirly markings. She has made good progress while in her foster home, and how has the run of the house! She loves all the other cats in her foster home. She will let you pet her on her terms (when you can catch her), and will reward you with purrs. When Lola has had enough, you may get a swat. She loves her liquid and crunchy cat treats - she is very food motivated! Lola also enjoys toys and is very playful. The perfect home for Lola would be a calm one with no young children. She would benefit from being with other friendly cats to teach her, and an experienced cat owner who will be understanding and help her to work on her socialization. Lola's foster mom believes that, with love and patience, Lola will be a great addition to the right home. Lola was born around July 28, 2024. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
