Story
Hello everyone, This is Patches. She is 14 years old and has been living with me and my husband since this past September after my brother passed away. Patches was my brother's companion for several years. She has always lived in a home where she was the only cat and the only pet. We have had Stacey for 14 years. Sadly, Stacey's sister, Sox, passed away last summer. I was really hoping Patches would adjust and they would become friends but it does not seem possible after several months of trying. I feel this environment has become too stressful for Patches and Stacey. Patches is kind and loves to be pet. She does not, however, like to be picked up. She has an adorable meow and has a good appetite. She will come to you when you call her name. She will sit on your lap or near you when she gets to know you. In honor of my brother, I am hoping someone will adopt Patches and love her and take care of her because it is not working out here.

Story
Meet Ambrosia & Pepper — a bonded pair of sweet senior sisters looking for a soft place to land together. At 16 years young, Ambrosia, a stunning calico, and Pepper, a sleek black beauty, came to us after their beloved owner moved into assisted living and heartbreakingly couldn’t take them along. These girls have been together their entire lives, and that bond is everything. Ambrosia is the queen and she absolutely knows it. She’s friendly, confident, and very vocal about what she wants—mostly pets, attention, and admiration. She boldly explores her surroundings and will happily remind you if you’ve stopped petting her for too long. Pepper, her sister, is the quieter half of the duo. She’s a bit shy at first and prefers to take things at her own pace, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into an incredibly affectionate companion. She’s a wonderful purrer and offers calm, gentle company that’s perfect for a peaceful home. These two must be adopted together—they’ve shared sixteen years side by side and truly rely on one another. Ambrosia can be a bit of a boss around other kitties to everyone except Pepper, so they’d do best in a home without other cats. They haven’t had experience with dogs. If you have room in your heart and home for a devoted senior pair who will reward you with love, personality, and years of companionship, Ambrosia and Pepper are ready to spend their golden years with you. Their adoption fee is $400 for the pair and Ambrosia & Pepper are vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. They also qualify for our senior-to-senior program so if you’re 60 years or older, you can adopt them for just $300. If you're interested in this darling duo, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Holly Hobby Holly Hobby is a stunning dilute calico beauty with mesmerizing golden eyes and a quiet grace that will melt your heart. Holly loves to be petted and will look at you with those eyes so that you can't help but oblige! Petting her is very satisfying because she stretches her body into your hand to get the most out of your offered pets. Holly is a gentle girl who thrives in a nurturing environment. She is looking for a warm companion who is happy to hand out pets. She is a quiet, easy kitty who requests pets and leans into them. She is on a prescription diet to prevent crystals in her bladder. She eats her prescription food well. That is the only special care she needs. She will do best in a home with adults or a kind-hearted singleton. She also needs people who understand that not every cat enjoys being picked up. When her foster picks her up, Holly just lodges her complaint with management by squiggling and squirming. This sweetheart wouldn't resort to claws! She currently lives peacefully with other 4 cats and 4 kittens and would be happy in a feline-friendly home — or she’d be just as content being your one and only. Canine visitors put her on her guard. Holly likes to be treated to wet food. She will happily accept Temptations treats and Delectables, as well. She is very tidy with her litter box. She loves a comfy blanket and a good view of cat TV. Holly Hobby asks if you will be her friend? Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
Lola was brought in from outdoors when the nice lady that was caring for her, along with her mama (Trish) and brother (Oscar), called Foster and Forever for help.  At first, Lola was very scared of everything and everybody, and was very spicy. She has  come around nicely now with the help of lots of love and patience from her foster family. She runs around the house, playing with other cats and her mama, Trish. Lola will follow her foster mom around, rub on her legs, and look for pets. She will let you pick her up and carry her around, snuggled on your shoulder, and will purr the whole time.  She has soft fur and beautiful swirly markings. She has made good progress while in her foster home, and how has the run of the house! She loves all the other cats in her foster home. She will let you pet her on her terms (when you can catch her), and will reward you with purrs. When Lola has had enough, you may get a swat. She loves her liquid and crunchy cat treats - she is very food motivated! Lola also enjoys toys and is very playful. The perfect home for Lola would be a calm one with no young children. She would benefit from being with other friendly cats to teach her, and an experienced cat owner who will be understanding and help her to work on her socialization. Lola's foster mom believes that, with love and patience, Lola will be a great addition to the right home. Lola was born around July 28, 2024. She is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
