Calico kittens & cats in Naugatuck, Connecticut

She weaves in and out of your legs spinning a tale that could fill a diary. She's a happy girl who runs up to greet you  when you come home. While kittens are oodles of fun, there is a special pleasure in adopting a young cat who still has her youthful energy but whose personality is bit more developed!  Named after the young adult diary book, Go Ask Alice!, this literary cat gave birth to an adorable kitten litter of banned books and now deserves a loving home of her own.  Like the troubled runaway teen in Go Ask Alice!,  this beautiful calico kitty has been on a perilous journey in the outside world, and is now ready to be safe in her forever home.   She's surprisingly playful and a purrfect calico  just needs an experienced household  Young mamas sometimes lose their sense of their own body sometimes, and they get confused by affection. Alice will sometimes put her mouth on you when she's frustrated or when she's over stimulated (she doesn't like her backend petted), which may scare a child or someone not familiar with cat behavior. And we pre-register the microchip which will automatically transfer to you at adoption keeping us as secondary contact. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. Spotted her on my back deck July 2023. Uploaded to pawboost.com without a result to this day (no luck getting help from local shelter either) It was either having a starving and sick animal living under my deck, or take her in at least for the time being. # Knows how to use the litter box # Never scratched my screen door # Never jumps on the table # Gentle, quiet and timid - exactly opposite of high-energy/mischievous pet videos you may find on the internet # Hates the sound of yard equipment and goes into hiding

Do you love polydactyl kitties? Well then check out our two new beauties, Violette & Mirah! These precious girls came to us from a local shelter. The girls are so sweet, despite all the changes they’ve been through in a short time. They seek affection, are very gentle and calm. Violette & Mirah previously lived with other cats. We will be scheduling their spay and vaccine appointments soon as we can get them into our vet.   Lily came to Animals For Life ,shy, skittish and with little human contact. She is  8 y.o  and is currently being fostered and loves playing, being pet and brushed and will remind you by gently tapping you with her paw. Lily will need to go to a quiet home with a family that will give her the time she needs to get comfortable and adjust to her new surroundings. Zizi is a gorgeous girl with unique calico and tabby markings. She was a young mother and now that her kittens are grown, she deserves to be spoiled! While she may seem shy at first, she is quick to trust. She loves to have her chin and neck rubbed. She's a mellow girl with lots of love to give.   Zizi is friendly with other cats, often offering a head rub in passing. She loves to "mother" younger cats. Zizi was born around January 12, 2021.
